shiva and kain stand at her side, as always, dutiful guard lions and a symbol of her status, yet there's no one around to impress (or intimidate).

she kneels down, touches the ground. the dust hasn't yet settled on the marks left by some type of pokemon. she can't make out what species of tracks it is, but she knows that they're close.

shiva raises her muzzle as a breeze blows their way.

[attr="class","anyapost"]the lioness cocks her head and then eyes her master. the woman has a soft spot for cat pokemon, there's no doubt about that, so she's half inclined to lead anya the wrong way. but duty and loyalty have her paws padding towards the source of the smell.

they come up to a farmhouse on the side of the road a few minutes later and there's the purrloin. it sits on the fence licking at one of its paws. anya's lips curl. she'd been hoping to capture another subject, but one can never have too much security.

"shiva, if you will. i need this one alive." the lioness settles back on her haunches and then bounds forward, tail kicking up dust behind her. the purrloin looks up a moment too late as the pyroar's powerful jaws clamp around its small body. the cat pokemon screeches as it goes down and shiva bites down harder.

anya stands before them, looking down at the pokemon with a pokeball in hand. "you can either continue to struggle or you can come with us." the cat hisses and writhes and shiva's jaws close tighter. the purrloin yowls and then goes limp.

not a fighter then, she thinks. no matter. she drops the ball and waits.
