going up the volcano at summer was a wrong idea, but kyle was there nonetheless.

his aerodactyl brings him near the peak. it was accessible through the cable car, though it was unfortunately under maintenance at the time of his visit. unfortunate, but nothing else could be done but to adapt to it.

finally getting his feet on solid ground, he leaves his aerodactyl out of its ball for a while as he observes the situation. there weren't people around at least, which was fine. kyle didn't feel like talking to people at that time anyways.

the attention goes to the noisy pyroar who suddenly makes a loud noise. kyle and the beast lock eyes for a moment before the wild pokemon takes off.

"no, that's not it."

the pokemon was an attention seeker, not unlike most of his dogs. they think it's nice to get everyone's attention by doing unnecessary things that they think is cute, but it mostly just annoys people like him with those tricks.

then again, he faces those more annoying antics daily and some cute tricks that his dogs do for attention has gotten dull and boring over the time.

the vulpix notices the duo after the sound of the pyroar's roar attracts it. it scurries away soon afterwards.

his aerodactyl turns his attention to the small fox. kyle pays it no mind as he continues scouring the edge of the volcano's mouth.

"just ignore it."

and so the aerodactyl did. it perches on his trainer's shoulders after a while, hovering lightly by flapping its wings whenever it feels like he's putting too much of a burden on his trainer.
