An aquarium was definitely a good way to learn about some of the water type Pokemon that could be found in the oceans, Yuina just hadn't spent that much time out in water yet to really know what she all was out there. Sure, she had Crowley and Daikenki, but they were mobile enough to be on land since they had legs, there were dozens upon dozens of water Pokemon that really could only exist out on or in the water, and what better place to see them than in a natural habitat of sorts?[break][break]
Enjoying her time thus far, Yuina was delighted to see something about a Mermaid show? It seemed like quite the spectacle, nearly everyone in the immediate area was filing in to the stadium, she wanted to see what it was all about, she'd never heard of mermaids before? Maybe it was a kind of Pokemon they were going to have out?[break]
Moving through the crowd, Yuina found a row with only a few seats occupied, scooting down the way and shuffling with her feet to not disrupt anyone else who was already sitting. There were more people filing in behind her, so she moved to sit next to someone who had already taken a seat.[break]
"Hi, sorry, I hope it's okay if I sit here," she offered before moving to sit down with a smile.

Through the entirety of the performance, Yuina was delighted, there were water type Pokemon that she had never seen before and some of them were absolutely adorable. She clapped and smiled along with the performance as it went, everyone was having such a great time! Then the lights came down and it seemed like a more poignant part of the performance was ready to happen, when a woman in a beautiful costume and a white Pokemon that Yuina recognized from Shalin started performing together in the water.[break]
It was entrancing, the way they moved together in the water and dove and flipped, they were really working so well together and it was beautiful! The pair came up to the edge of the water, onto a section that was meant to be a platform, waving to the crowd and taking in the applause. The Dewgong too waved with its fins and barked at the children in the most front row, splashing them with water that it flung at them with its tail.[break][break]
Maybe they were getting ready to move on to a next section of the performance, what other Pokemon would be coming out into the water?

The performance was spectacular, and as soon as Yuina might have thought it was over as a handful of water Pokemon and their swimmers were poised at the edge of the stage and waving to the applause, the lights shifted and one of the performers spoke over a microphone about audience participation. Yuina wondered what that entailed, and hadn't really been paying any mind until the lights were shining in her eyes and the crowd started to cheer and push her forward, along with the guy she had sat next to.[break]
"Oh, wait what," she fumbled, but stage hands had already started to help shuffle them down towards the water and the arena where the performer called out to them.[break][break]
"Oh, uh, I don't... What are we even supposed to do," she questioned both to the guy she'd been sitting next to and the attendants that had more or less forced them to the stage? She had zero idea of what was going on?

It was clear that the name of the game was something... Pretty? Something, graceful? The Pokemon that the guy had was definitely that, pretty and graceful and exactly what the crowd wanted, it could have belonged to one of the mermaids and it would have made perfect sense. All of the mermaids had Pokemon that were either really cute and little, or pretty and flowy in the water that matched their strides as mermaids...[break]
Yuina watched on as the guy and his serpent Pokemon did tricks and swam together in the water, it was really exactly what needed to fit in the show, was he planted there on purpose? Yuina wouldn't have been surprised if he was actually part of the show but was there as an audience member to make it more interesting... He came back to the edge of the water with his Pokemon after showing off exactly the right kind of moves, and then it was up to her...[break][break]
"Something like that? I don't... Uh...," she stammered, she did have a water type Pokemon, and while she adored him... He wasn't exactly what someone would call... Pretty? She took out her Pokeball and it opened, revealing Daikenki, her Samurott. In stark contrast to the bright vibrant colors and flowing fins of the other Pokemon, his dark helmet and sharp claws certainly stood out. The crowd murmured, there were a couple of claps, but even the mermaids seemed a bit offput, their show could be ruined...[break]
"Right... Oh wait," Yuina thought, moving towards Daikenki as she put a hand on his broad neck, stroking his fur. She reached down to her belt, and pressed the button on the orb that she had, and in a brilliant flash of light Daikenki was enveloped in sparkling and shimmering, bright blue energy. The crowd ooed and awed, now that he fit the bill a bit more, and Yuina moved to sit astride his shoulders as the water type moved into the pool.

Daikenki's glittering and shimmering blue crystalline appearance shown in the water as he submerged himself, the gentle lapping of the water reflecting his tera energy. Maybe he wasn't 'pretty' like the other Pokemon, but he sure was pretty cool, and Yuina smiled as the crowd cheered for her ingenuity. The guy that she'd been paired with too was just as excited, coming up beside her and Daikenki on the serpent that he had with him.[break][break]
"A race? Sure, let's go," Yuina nodded, and the announcer took it in full force as they got the audience to count down. She knew that she and Daikenki didn't spend too much time in the water together, speed wasn't necessarily something they had trained for, but this was just all in good fun. The audience counted down, and then they were off, water spraying behind them as they rushed across the arena. The serpent was truly beautiful, Yuina could tell why it would be the kind of Pokemon that the mermaid's would use, but she was pleased to know that Daikenki's shimmering energy was showy enough that he looked fantastic jetting across the water.[break][break]
The end of the arena came up quickly, and the serpent's long body proved effective as it crossed first, but Daikenki was only a second behind, and the race was won. The crowd cheered, and Yuina smiled, maybe she and Daikenki could stand to spend more time around the oceans of the region for a while.[break]
"That was really fun, it was really cool to meet you this way, I'm Yuina," she offered as they were being helped out from the pool of water, their audience participation had done wonders for the final portion of the show!
