The cold of Windertodt seeps into his bones... Tempest really wishes he was standing in front of a warm fireplace.[break][break]

Thankfully, this was once again the 'shiny run', so he knew he wouldn't be here for very long. This was proven when a purple Delibird suddenly popped out from a little hidey hole, ignorant of Tempest and his Jolteon.[break][break]

A little click of the tongue and head nod towards the Delibird. Shocker sparked up, sending out a powerful Thunder that crackled in the chilled air.[break][break]

One of the balls he had been given was tossed at the Delibird.

One of the half frozen over pools flashed blue when Tempest went to grab the Delibird's pokeball. Stepping closer, he saw a Staryu half submerged inside the water. It floated lazily, the blue gem occasionally lighting up. Ah, so it seemed to be content at least. Poor thing.[break][break]

He was going to take this thing home.[break][break]

"Shocker." Then a little whistle. The Jolteon trotted over, ears pricked back, before glancing down into the pool. He shook himself off before ripping another Thunder out; this one aimed at the whole pool of water.[break][break]

Tempest tossed another ball at the poor Stayru who floated to the top.

Tempest wrinkled his nose when he reached into the cold water to grab the Staryu's pokeball.[break][break]

When he stood up and shook it dry, a flicker of movement caught his eye. He whipped his head around to see what it was-[break][break]

Only for the interest to flicker out instantly, like a candle blown out by the wind.[break][break]

Burmy was one of the last things that Tempest gave a shit about. Shrugging, he whistled from Shocker to follow before he moved deeper into the ice castle.

Tempest shivered, again wishing he had brought a thicker jacket.[break][break]

From a distance, he spotted a little white Darumaka. It was playing in a show drift, rolling around balls to make a snowman. It looked like it was trying to make one based on itself.[break][break]

Cute. But not what Tempest was looking for. He watched on for a few moments before making his way past, careful not to bother it.

The holiday cheer reminded Tempest of movies; of milk and cookies seen in TV shows and in books. Not something he ever experienced as a child and had no real warmth for. Yet it always made him amused to think about.[break][break]

Maybe he thought of it because of how big the Cetoddle was?[break][break]

It looked like it could eat a lot of them.[break][break]

"Shocker." A grin was given, brow raised. The Jolteon charged forward to Double Kick the land whale before Tempest threw the ball.

A blast of cold air and Tempest once again found himself wishing for some mittens. [break][break]

Shivering, when they turned a corner they saw a large and splendid ice lake. It looked so clear and crisp, like it was just on the verge of freezing. Resting on top of a purple Lapras. It reminded Tempest of his own, only smaller; this one was young.[break][break]

A nod to his Jolteon. Once again, Thunder crackled through the air.[break][break]

His final Safari Ball was thrown.
