BLANCHE may seem to be walking slowly across the icy lands of the Safari Zone, but every step she takes covers a great stretch of land. The AURORUS is naturally suited to this environment. Winter is her favorite time of year.[break][break]

It isn't often that she allows Remiel to summon her. So, after strapping a harness to her back, the royal takes a ride. Her height helps grant him a better vantage point from where he sits. In the distance, he swears he sees something approaching fast.[break][break]

The DELIBIRD seems desperate to gain their attention. Blanche won't offer it the satisfaction, however. She nearly tramples it beneath her large feet by accident.[break][break]

Remiel, on the other hand, glances down at it while he rides. It tries to offer him a PRESENT, but he declines it with a shake of his head. Disillusioned, the Delibird gives up before shuffling away.[break][break]

The STARYU seems to be hibernating on the rock they've found. It doesn't seem disturbed at all when they pass by it. When his Aurorus leans down to sniff it, however, it suddenly awakens.[break][break]

It casts a flurry of SWIFT stars at them without warning. They strike, but only stagger the dinosaur for a moment before it returns fire with a HYPER BEAM at point-blank range. When the roaring blast tapers off, they find nothing in its place but scorch marks.[break][break]

His Aurorus accidentally ends up stepping on a BURMY as they wade through some bushes. Miraculously enough, however, it does not perish. Instead, it clings to the dinosaur's foot before executing a BUG BITE.[break][break]

Blanche roars as she summons an ANCIENT POWER. Then she proceeds to swat the Burmy off her foot with a flurry of stones. Despite hitting herself a couple of times, this is enough for Remiel to pull out a ball and capture it.[break][break]

The GALARIAN DARUMAKA chases them with the intent to play. Blanche consistently ignores its advances, however. Eventually, this leaves the little golem angered.[break][break]

It attacks with a HEADBUTT, striking one of the Aurorus' feet. Even though this didn't hurt her too much, however, Blanche retaliates with an ANCIENT POWER. Once Remiel pulls the golem out from the rubble, he captures it with a Luxury Ball.[break][break]

Blanche bends down to boop the CETODDLE on the snoot with her nose. It giggles and dances around her in response. As far as Remiel could tell, the Cetoddle was completely alone in this frozen wasteland. Didn't they usually travel in pods?[break][break]

When the royal turns to look back down, he finds it RESTING against the Aurorus' foot. Deciding it would be better to come with him, Remiel pulls an empty Luxury Ball out from his pack and casts it down. The Cetoddle is absorbed in a flash of golden light.[break][break]

The LAPRAS meets it match with the Aurorus. As the latter wades through the water, which just so happens to reach up far enough to almost entirely submerge its legs, the sea beauty launches ICE SHARD. These remain rather ineffective, however, as she withstands the attack with her tail.[break][break]

Remiel is forced to hang onto the reins of his dinosaur tight as it returns fire with a HYPER BEAM. The blast is enough to create a temporarily empty crater in the lake below. Once the water rushes back in to fill the void, however, the unconscious Lapras rises back up. He takes that moment to produce an empty Luxury Ball and cast it afterward.[break][break]
