“Right right” Gerald muttered, a little bit miffed that they seemed to be going nowhere right now.

And as Gerald grabbed the grappling hook and checked it out. His eyes caught sight of movement at the end of one of the strings, though admittedly he didn’t quite see what it was. But perhaps it was this Magearna thing.

“I saw something.” Having had enough of waiting around. He went into action as he spoke. Hooking the grappling hook and throwing himself onto the line letting this weird mode of transportation carry him to the other end of the line.

By the time he got over there and unhooked himself, whatever it was had either hidden itself or run away. He sighed.

- 12 investigate the massive mechanical castle found at the northern end of the kingdom. in there, find the ancient remains of humans and pokemon.
- 19 involve an elevator ride that goes horrifically wrong.
- 20 experience the kingdom's song picking up tempo, causing all mechanizations, including soulless pokemon, to frantically speed up.
- utilize an ultra beast in an advantageous way.
- 22 involve the use of a grappling hook/tool and "sky-lines" (shamelessly stolen from bioshock: infinite) to travel or engage in combat.

“Oh?” Apparently, her keen-eyed partner for the day had seen something. Violet squinted in the given direction, trying to make out what it was. She could not see anything herself in the dark of the cave, but when the man decided to grapple with the consequences of life and shot off towards wherever he wanted to go, she spurred her Togekiss to follow swiftly.

However, it seemed like that was to no avail to begin with. Violet sighed, lightly disappointed. “I am not seeing anything. Are you sure you actually saw something?” Or did he just want to have seen something? It would be kind of annoying to have gone down here and not found a single thing, she could relate to that. Yet, even as she looked around, she did not see any small, sentient robot pokemon. Those kind of tended to stand out.

“I am sure I saw something.” Gerald spoke bluntly. Though the implications of her question weren't lost on him. He didn’t dignify it with a further response.

“Though whatever it was, it's no longer here.” He was annoyed, no hiding that. But there really wasn’t much he could do about it.

A sigh escaped him. “Maybe we should just get out of here.” He mumbled more so to himself than Violet.
