It's the final patrol of the year. Remiel ponders on the time he's spent here on ROUTE 115. The amount of work he'd placed into its conservation was great. And, ultimately, entirely worth it.[break][break]

The SLITHER WING that patrols ahead of him seems entirely alien in this snowy landscape. VESUVIA was a beast in her own right, but she would soon come to find out that she wasn't the only one in these woods. It was why they had come out tonight.[break][break]

Remiel had never encountered such an overly aggressive DRACOZOLT before. But this one did not hesitate to leap from the bushes with a swing of a DRAGON TAIL aimed at his Slither Wing. The attack struck, but thankfully Vesuvia's multiple feet helped her brace herself.[break][break]

On the offensive now, the menacing bug stands before diving in with a LOW SWEEP. This strike connects without fail and causes the Dracozolt to lose its footing. Like a turtle tossed onto its back, it struggles to get back up afterward. Remiel leaves it a small bundle of food, as hunger was likely the root of its aggression, before continuing onward.[break][break]

The DURALUDON is a force to be reckoned with. Despite its brute strength, however, both Remiel and Vesuvia caught on to its movements rather quickly. It didn't have a wide repertoire of attacks to choose from.[break][break]

Just as it charged in for a ROCK SMASH, the Slither Wing would beat it to the proverbial punch with a FLAME CHARGE. This powerful strike served to launch it backward. And, in the end, it slunk away into the woodlands defeated.[break][break]

The DRACOVISH stumbles out from the lake like a drunk from the pub on St. Psyduck's Day. It came hacking and coughing like a WATER GUN, managing to strike Vesuvia's wing by accident as it desperately tried to pull itself together. If Remiel didn't know any better, it had nearly drowned itself.[break][break]

Just as his Slither Wing prepares DUAL WINGBEAT, however, the Dracovish collapses. Its near death experience has, instead, rendered it unconscious upon the muddy shore of the lake. Remiel sighs, but inevitably pulls out a Luxury Ball to capture it.[break][break]
