He could only hide the worst of the cringes as one after another, several bottles of soda had outright exploded and drenched the unlucky person holding them at the time in varying flavors of lemon, orange—was he seeing things, did someone get dunked in grape-flavored soda?[break][break]

This would be much more dangerous with a can, not a bottle, but whatever, he thinks idly, having finished off the half-dozen he’d ordered the last time he’d come around for a shake.[break][break]

Now that it was that time again, he saw that another bottle—and this time he had no idea what the hell the flavor was—had been set down by someone.[break][break]

He couldn’t help but chuckle softly at the slight look of disappointment on the other person’s face, so…[break][break]

Alright, time to go again, he thought as he stood up and made his way for the counter, peeling some more bills and asking for another batch of bottles. Once he was handed the wares, he picked up the ‘target’ bottle and shook it…[break][break]

Bronze leaned back against the counter, forearms resting atop the colourful surface so that his hands dangled freely over the edge. He watched the latest contestant with a bemused expression, glancing sidelong at the shopkeep. Yep. Just as he'd thought - the man had that particular glint in his eye and faint flush to his cheeks and slightly elevated breathing. You could always tell when the one doing the shaking was doing it in an unfortunately suggestive manner - all you had to do was look at the damned lecherous shop owner. The popping probably had some sort of lascivious connotations in the man's sick mind.

kyle has given up on trying to exert effort on shaking the bottle. everyone else seemed to share his sadistic tendencies anyways and wants others to experience the same humiliation that everyone else had.
