BACKSTORY

during her shared avatarship with darkrai, former head scientist Lulu Flint researched the effects of the legendary’s nightmare-inducing mist, and its interactions with dream mist. after the leaking of the interdream zone, she developed a theory: that through the dream world, alternate universes could be reached.

under the guise of pursuing cresselia, she gained declan walsh ’s approval to begin work on a dream machine. secretly, she hoped to build a database of dreams large enough to simulate the dream world itself – but the boss, now darkrai’s sole avatar, warned about the dangers of a realm made from the collective imagination.

heedless of his warning, the machine was built. in the end, it was the seal stone that brought it to life, utilizing the RKS simulation technology developed by team rocket’s brightest minds, as well as two tera shards – one psychic, one dark.

now that it is complete, with the database still in its infancy, lulu wonders if she should have heeded the boss’s warning.

DREAM COLLECTION AND THE PROGRESSION OF DREAM TECHNOLOGY

to collect digitized dream data, a patch was coded for porygon-z: the z-move dream weaver. since the interdream zone has continued to leak more into the region, it has been discovered that this patch is no longer necessary. startlingly, dreams can be stolen more easily than ever before through the use of psychic-types and porygon.

team rocket has leaned into this dream phenomena, with the recruitment of other dream researchers like dr. ameena abadi . as the organization’s dream technology expands and progresses, the possibilities seem endless.

SCENARIOS AND SIMULATIONS

using various types of mist that fill the submarine lab's simulation room, including mist collected from the interdream zone, one may induce shared nightmares or dreams, or even a controlled combination of both. beds are present if needed. it should be noted that darkrai’s mist will always eventually overpower the dream mist of musharna.

this machine is also capable of simulating dreams collected into its database, often obtained through attacks on league authorities and civilians. these can be experienced without the dreamer present. in this case, the dream should still be written in rounds by the player of the character the dream belonged to.
