[attr="class","merkI"] It wasn't too long until their peace and quiet weas interrupted, however. Before long, a wild Pokemon came bursting out of the trees around them, physically shivering. Ruby's smile slowly began to fade a little bit at the sight of the poor Medicham, eyes glancing around as it tried to find some sort of shelter. She didn't think what it would be for all these tropical pokemon entirely unused to the snow, to suddenly be surrounded by it. Just because Opal wasn't affected in the slightest didn't mean that everyone else wouldn't be! "Hey..." She spoke softly, but just loud enough to get the wild Medicham's attention. "Are you cold?" Ruby continued, only to watch the Medicham stare at them as if trying to gauge their reactions. Or more accurately looking at their aura, but Ruby wouldn't know that in the slightest. Bundled up in a jacket of her own, Ruby was quite comfortable, but she could see that this meditative pokemon wasn't used to this cold weather. Seeing that they didn't run away, Ruby decided to take that as a good sign. Pulling her backpack off of her back, Ruby slowly pulled out a spare blanket she was carrying around with her. You never know when you're going to need one in this weather, but it seemed like right now someone else could use it more than she could. The Medicham, now comfortable with their presence after taking a serious look at their aura and finding them without hostility, slowly moved closer. Immediately, the girl wrapped up Medicham in the blanket, tucking it around them. Surely it wasn't super useful, but it was better than nothing. "There, is that better?" She gave a soft smile, grinning ear to ear. And yet, Medicham's expression seemed to continue to be rather blank. Staring at them, as if seeing through them. "... Is everything okay?" Ruby spoke, growing more and more worried for the pokemon, glancing up at Opal, who seemed to have no input on the matter at hand. Eventually, Medicham slowly reached out, pointing a finger at Ruby's right hand, the one still carrying the empty Pokeball she had been tossing up and down. "Oh!" Ruby exclaimed out. It was probably warmer inside the Pokeballs than it was with a simple blanket in this weather. Surprised, yet clearly joyful, Ruby reached out and just gently tapped the Pokeball against the Medicham's arm, attempting to capture the Pokemon. For what it was worth, Medicham seemed to actually smile right before the attempted capture. She had found a trainer worthy. notes: Attempted capture of the Medicham!
