a side of veggies? | Remiel's smoking was soon interrupted when he spotted a most unusual looking plant at the border of the forest nearby. He narrowed his eyes upon it, but ultimately decided to step forward towards it instead. So, flicking his cigarette onto the dirt-paved road and smothering it with the sole of his shoe, the black-haired royal advanced.
Upon reaching it, the lad set his palm against its bulbous head... only to realize it was no plant at all. Swiftly, he back away as the creature reared its head and looked at him. It was a Cradily. The considerable rarity of finding a live fossil pokémon in the wild was reason for him not having noticed the pattern on it earlier. Then again, this was Hoenn. And Hoenn was proving to be far more surprising and unusual than he had anticipated.
Just before the annoyed plant began to charge an Energy Ball, however, Nagato leapt out from the bushes behind it, sinking its teeth into and strangling its neck with its clawed hands until it finally succumbed. A mere moment before the raptor twisted said neck and delivered its fatal blow, however, Remiel held up a hand and bid it to stop.
"That's enough," He spoke, removing an empty luxury ball out from his pack as the raptor released its prey. Dropping to a crouch, the lad examined the extent of the fossil pokémon's injuries before tapping the ball against its head. It was still salvageable. If it, indeed, allowed itself to be caught in the first place. If not, he would leave the rest to his Grovyle— whose hunger, apparently, knew no end.
