tag @staffs notes <3 | An unexpected encounter. A pair of blades hovered towards Lucius, trimmming the grass on its path. Not what he searched for, however, it was one that he needed. The pawn, one whose life is worth nothing more than that of a tool. It was the sentient embodiment of a tool, a tool for war, just what he needed. It seemed as though the bishop had to wait, for much like how chess is played, the pawn seems to always move first.
He plucked one of his pokeballs off of his belt, releasing his Queen. The alolan ninetales appeared before Lucius, "I want it." He hissed as he pointed at the doublade. The icy ninetales knew exactly what to do, its eyes glew brightly with a blinding flash of blue light, hitting the doublade with its CONFUSE RAY. With the doublade disoriented, the alolan ninetales then followed up with an ICE BEAM, forming a bright ball of blue light on its unhinged mouth which then shot out as a beam of ice cold, light blue, energy ray.
Of course, the alolan ninetales held back, giving power enough to only incapacitate the doublade, leaving it in a near frozen state making it unable to resist. Lucas grinned as it took out one of his unoccupied pokeballs, his crimson orbs focused only at the doublade as he threw the ball, attempting to catch the sentient pair of swords.
