power is taken, never given.

fernando is not one to be denied. he refuses to take no for an answer. today will be no different.

what he needs is muscle. the ability to carry out the grandeur that he imagines. he trusts only those that he enslaves to the devices that line his belt. they're capable, much more than human hands. that's why he needs more. he needs an army.

his needs change with every plan. another variable is added and the possibilities expand exponentially. silph co. can barely keep up. but fernando will not relent. there is work to do and workers to hire. today he's here on the hunt. he needs something different. something vicious.

he needs a killer.

qwilfish is an underrated gem. compact, subtle, and surprisingly lethal. fernando knows the pokemon well, using it as a firearm on previous occasions. unfortunately, he's grown now. he needs something with more tact. the poison point makes it a liability. using the pokemon as a barbed blunt weapon can be used against him. one wrong move and the pokemon can find itself lodged in its own user.

so, fernando takes the precaution to pass on it. there will be other pokemon. more useful pokemon. stronger pokemon.

it's those that he looks for. eager to taste what the caverns will offer.

omastar is a relic of the past. fernando has no need for something that has no future. he skips it without concern. it provides no utility nor acts as an offensive role that someone else does not already fulfill. the falls have been disappoint so far but that's to be expected. how could he expect such treasure with every expedition. it's about time fernando came to a halt, a pit stop on his road for the crusade. perhaps today is finally the day he gets told no. maybe it'll be the start of what becomes an end to his conquest.

regardless, he continues to seek it. the depths of the cavern will be exploited, no stone unturned.

never compromise. not now, not ever. not even in the face of certain defeat.

he continues because he must. time is a resource he can never reclaim, the true enemy he can never defeat.

today will end but there will be a tomorrow. that's why he persists.

eyes narrow. it's his trademark glare, squinting at the annoyance before him. for a pokemon that has so much potential on paper, fernando knows enough of the plant life from his motherland to know that exeggutor is more often a liability than a not. still, its a psychic type and that merits a second look. maybe it'll sit in his pc or find a use somewhere down the future. either way, he's determined to leave with something.

"battle set routine."

it's overkill. there's no need for it. but he does it all the same. proficiency comes from mastering the basics. there's no such thing as too much training.

"execute."
