His eyes flashed to her, his mood only souring further, but he recognized that she was trying to calm him down, so he didn't lash out. The damage to his hands vanished without a trace, and he frowned at this dream like place, the pain could have focused him, but it's sudden absence only infuriated him further.

"It doesn't matter if he's asleep....They are doing something to him....And I will not allow that...." His tone was razor sharp, he had foolhardily thought that his pokemon would be back at the manor asleep, that the balls being smashed were fakes, but Amor realized that if he had stepped out of line that Draco could have died, and that only forced his rage to greater heights. They were trying to take his treasure from him, and that would not be allowed.

"I'm aware of our plan....I have been patient...." He clenched his fists tightly until his knuckles were white. Draco had saved him....Over, and over he had been saved by his strongest, and most trusted partner.

Many mistakenly believed that Erebus was his strongest companion, but they would be wrong. Erebus was second to Draco....The faith, and trust that Amor put in his dragon was leagues upon leagues higher than that of Deoxys. To see his dragon like that, he grit his teeth as he seethed even more.

"They better pray....My plan fails....Because I will not leave anything...." Not even the molecules that made up their miserable existence would remain when he was done exacting his vengeance upon them.

"It seems you share the same hypothesis that I do....Your research will be valuable then...." Because for his own ambitions he needed the ability to traverse those dimensions, he needed that ability, and so far the Dream World was the best chance of accomplishing it. So he sipped his tea, and took another bite of his chocolate. She couldn't target the dreams that she wanted to see, which is what made her desire to experiment on him troubling. There were things he preferred no one to know....Things that weren't any of their business, and while he could keep stray thoughts from happening in his waking hours, that didn't mean the discipline extended to when he was asleep.

"I'd like to see your research in action....When you find a willing subject invite me." Was all he said as took another long sip of his tea almost draining the cup, before standing up. "I should get back to work....Breakthroughs don't create themselves...." Not only that but he wanted to nap, his Regidrago wounds still ached, and he felt he had indulged her enough. She could invite him to observe the process, or not, but he would not allow her into his head yet.

"You're free to stick around as long as you don't impede my work....Otherwise I can see you out...." Walking back into the main part of his lab he began to look over the core of the machine that he had destroyed trying to summon his titan....He was thankful howard slayte was able to salvage it at the very least he could rebuild it easily enough.

Was he the same person?

"A good question...." Like a teacher giving a presentation to a student he smiled sincerely at the man in front of him. "You're right....I'm not the same....I'm stronger now....I have far more knowledge than I did....And I killed the man who took everything from me...." A casual admission, one that now only howard slayte knew. Amor had never told anyone about the man he had killed until now, and his smile never faded.

He did say that....

"And I meant it....But tell me Howard could you make that call...." Amor's gentle smile receded, and his usual neutral expression came back. "Do you think anyone else could....Let me weave you a tale...." Because the truth was probably far scarier than Howard realized.

"Do you think Cillian Quinn could do it? Because I don't....If he was faced with the ability to save this universe, and lose everything in the process....He would choose not to because it would erase Tempest Quinn, and his daughter....I appreciate him for everything he does, but I do sincerely believe if he had to choose, he'd condemn the world to be with the one he loved...." There was no mocking in his voice as he calmly explained his reasoning.

"Do you think Elisabeth Fiorelli could do it? Despite all her torturous self loathing, she's nothing more than a child acting out a tantrum....However even she has a tether...." Or he at least suspected she did. "Do you think she'd throw it all away for a chance to save the world? She'd sooner see it burn just to feel the warmth." That was his assessment at least.

"Personally I like Naomi Sato, but I don't think she has the conviction to throw away everyone, and everything she knows to rewrite everything....She's to nice at the end of the day....Like Isaac Merlo...." He stopped at those three, but he could keep going.

"Even you Howard have tethers, morals, and ethics that would prevent you from making the objectively correct choice....I don't blame them, or mock them for not being able too....But a God can't be both all-knowing, and all-good....Would you be willing to kill declan walsh, or Monroe in the womb to prevent Kanto? Sacrifce two for hundreds, thousands, and millions? Because I could....If that were my mission...." And he wouldn't second guess it, there was no longer a need to pretend anymore. He had been restored recently....He knew who he was, and what his mission was.

"I am not burdened because my tether is long gone....But there is a beacon of hope for you Howard....I pray that kyle lopez is every bit the hero, and man you believe him to be....Because that is the last lifeline I will extend to this place....If he fails, then I go back to plan A....And in the end everyone, and everything becomes forfeit."

So I hope you're right....I hope I can be stopped....

Her last sentence was lost on him, the dropping of her jaw ignored the moment he saw Draco trapped beyond reach, and there would be a loud CRACK sound as he punched the paned glass separating him from his dragon. There was no decorum, no politeness left as he punched the glass over, and over. Each time the cracks formed they sealed instantly, and his fury built up.

"LET HIM OUT! DRACO! WAKE UP!" Amor was rarely an emotional man, it was even rarer that he would act out in such a manner in front of anyone, but seeing his pokemon like this, seeing Draco like this....It was as if years of pent up aggression, and fury had caused him to simply come unglued, and there was no putting it back at the moment. So his fists continued to clash against the glass, and soon his hands despite being in a dream were bloodied.

The skin was ripped to shreds, and there was a palpable aura of anger seething out of every pore of his body.

"I will kill them....Every single one...." Murder was never his first choice either, but Draco was in danger and that meant all bets were off. No one took his dragons from him, no one.....Ameena was all but forgotten until he turned around, and saw her again, not even bothering to try, and save face he let the deep frown, and the narrowing of his eyes continue onward as he looked around the city.

"They will regret this...."

He had been busy since that first sleep....Every night he had done his best to meet with the others. Those he didn't meet with he tried to spread whispers within the cell. He had a way for them to get out, a way for them to fight back, but it would take all of them. So he approached Melody Miro first as they were cellmates.

"I think....I have a way for us to get out....But you have to trust me....Can you do that?" He'd ask her before going on to explain his plan in hushed whispers. "The dreamscape you've seen it too? If we can get everyone in all wards to pool their collective desire in a similar manner....We have a chance at freedom....But you have to want freedom more than anything else you've ever wanted....More than food, water, or life...." He understood that he sounded like a raving lunatic, but he needed to get as many people to agree to this as he possibly could. ameena abadi, and Lulu Flint were already on his side from their meetings in the dreamscape. But three did not make an army....

"It might take time....But trust me....I've not let you down yet...." Despite the lingering feelings of resentment he felt towards her, despite the fact that he wanted to make her writhe in agony as she had once done to him. There was no reason for it here, no reason for it now....They would settle their score one day, and it would be in glorious combat, but until then, they had to trust one another, and trust was a currency that was extremely rare.

Through the week he would make his way to howard slayte, fury broiled in his veins at the man having chosen to forsake the other ward, but it had still worked out for the time being.

"I need you to desire freedom more than the air you breathe Howard....I think we can create a similar situation as we did with that Regidrago Remnant....Our desire, and the Tera Crystals...." He let the other man fill in the blanks. "I've already got others in the other two wards working to this end as well...." Amor had been patient, he had found a chance, a slim chance for them to succeed, so they had no choice but to bet it all. "See if you can convince some others...."

There was only a few others in the ward that he could try to convince, but if he got Melody, and Howard....That would at least give them three from here, and the others who heard of his plan via osmosis.

Let this work....Please let this work....

Because if it didn't he could be leading them all to their doom.

A voice he hasn't heard yet interrupts his thoughts as he turns to see raven black hair, and a sense of urgency he rarely found on them. Though their first sentence to him was unexpected he quirked a brow.

"Azelf....I'm aware that it's sleeping...." He already told ameena abadi his thoughts on how to get out of this place, he wondered if Lulu had come to a similar conclusion. "The problem comes from trying to wake it up....I've already spoken with another about this....This dreamscape is the collective desire of the Megalopolans made manifest with the Tera Crystals....That is how we fight back. We have to make our desire, our will just as strong to make the Tera Crystals work for us....We have to desire freedom...." It was a quick summation but he knew that each second mattered, each one a precious moment that would fade into the next.

"Or did you have another plan?"

Amor turned to Howard, he was right they weren't here to fight, or spar. They disagree on a fundamental level, but that was alright that didn't make the man next to him any less of a friend. Though Howards surprise at his supposed course of action, did cause him to quirk a brow.

"I believe you may have mistaken a few things about me....It isn't something I really hide, but so few people peel past the surface I understand I can give the wrong impression...." It wasn't him mocking others just a simple statement of fact. Amor saw little need to correct, or elaborate further usually. "None of this matters to me Howard, this war, who lives, who dies....None of it matters to me...." What a callous thing to say.

"You asked me once what I would do if I got Dialga's power....Do you remember?" His gaze turned upwards to the stars. "This reality would no longer exist....This conversation would never happen....This timeline would be erased....Because I would go back, and prevent a single moment of my life....I'd never leave Kalos....I'd be happy...." The words were unusually sincere as he mulled them over. "For a long time....I've sought a reason to not want that....So when you tell me the consequences of my actions....Or act surprised....I want you to truly understand...." He would turn his eyes back to the man.

"I would burn a thousand cities to the ground if it meant getting one step closer to that goal...."

I would destroy a thousand universes to see her again....

"Oh so you think I'm ugly? I'm wounded...." He said noting her displeasure when he gave the definition to her, and that made him smirk for a moment. Still they continued to walk through the dreamscape, and it was her theory as to what this place that caused him to pause. Amor remembered how the Tera Crystal reacted when he slotted it into his machine, and how he had summoned Regidrago, or a version of it.

"No it's not technology....It's their desire, their dreams aren't being chosen like this....The Tera Crystals are making their collective desire a reality, er well....A form of reality...." He explained to her, and he looked around at the city. "I only guess as much since I did the same with that Regidrago remnant I mentioned to you that I summoned....The Tera Shard I put into the machine summoned the object of my desire....This is that but on a much grander scale." Which made sense to him since Tera Crystals were so abundant in the waking world.

"If enough people dream of something....Well it can be made reality with the Tera Crystals is my hypothesis, but the issue is getting everyone on the same page...." A plan began to form in his mind, if all three wards collectively wished for freedom what would happen then? What would the Tera Crystals do in reaction to them? Was this perhaps the moment that he had been waiting so patiently for. If all three wards together could make the Tera Crystals breathe life into their desire as they had done with the Megalopolans....There was a chance....

However that train of thought was interrupted as he saw in one of the buildings there were six pods, and each of them contained one of his pokemon, the one in the first pod was Draco, his Dragonite....

Her question was a reasonable one.

"I train very hard everyday....You're welcome to join me to see....Though I don't think it'd be your cup of tea....Pardon the pun...." He expressed to her with a smile, though she had never seen him without his suit on, nor would she ever more than likely. He could count on one hand the number of people who had seen what was underneath. "If I choose to indulge then I work twice as hard....That is the only way...." He said to her with an easy smile, and so he took a sip of the tea when it was prepared, and the bitterness didn't bother him in the slightest. In fact he nodded in approval at it, and broke off a piece of chocolate to chase it down with.

"You know your way around a kettle...." He frowned a bit, part of him wanted to apologize for how he had snapped earlier. Part of him felt justified. "Tell me about your research....How does it work? I'm only familiar with the stuff that manifests things randomly....Is yours more targeted?" He took another sip, stubbornly refusing to apologize for the moment, and instead hiding behind wanting to know more about her line of work. He understood parts of it thanks to Lulu Flint, but it was vague, and he always got the feeling she didn't like him so he didn't press her to hard.

Ameena was different they had known each other a short time, compared to the others he knew, but they had accomplished much together in a short time. The proof was in the Poipole that he was currently raising. They had also talked at length more than a few times. It was strange that he found himself spending so much time with another person so often, but she wasn't afraid to approach him at the very least, and he respected that.

"You assume death ever had any meaning....It only means something to us that remain....Even then it fades over time....For most...." He explained to howard slayte with a wry smile. Some deaths though, some of them never faded, those memories seared into your heart, body, and soul. Kyle's death was meaningless in that regard, but his ability to cheat death was another matter.

"I don't think it makes you a traitor....It makes you human, and I don't think it's wrong to mourn for someone we respect....As long as that is all it is." He spoke simply to Howard, and as to what they should take. "We should take Dewford....With Lulu Flint the Space Center is little more than a mere decoration....It might expedite extraplanar explorations, but it's not needed....Dewford is our best bet, we will have a shot at taking it....If we raze Pacifilog to the ground to force the League to divert resources to aide it which will by us more time to take Dewford...." Though putting that plan into action was another matter, and only if the upper brass agreed upon it.

"Once we control Dewford.....Slateport is sandwiched, and would let us break into the mainland...." That is how he saw it, but again he wasn't a proper strategist he was sure there were many holes in his plan. "Without the threat of Kyogre....The seas are less protected, and we could leverage that...." The avatar of Kyogre had been the biggest thorn in their side, but that was no longer an issue.

There would be no better chance for them, all of the stars had somehow aligned for this strike, but whether they could do pull it off was another matter. His gaze turned to his companion when he asked for the truth.

"The region is sick....And that sickness starts at the top....With the League....Crime only happens due a failure of government, someone as well versed in history as you should know that. It's a symptom of a bigger problem....If the League accepted their failure in that regard, then I wouldn't be here today....Do you know why I came to Rocket? Why I'm the only person who has ever defected the opposite way?" He stared at the man with one eye.

"Because with Rocket....You know what you're getting....You can always trust a liar to lie Howard....But the 'honest' ones....How many innocent people have they killed? How many lives have been lost due to their negligence? We barely have to lift a finger, and MATIAS SILPH will wipe out cities for us at the slightest provocation....The Truth is that the League is full of nothing but people who want to feel like they're doing good....But not put in the work....They're no better than us, and you're so called martyr kyle lopez enabled it...." He let his words sink in for a bit.

"The truth is they should be eradicated from top to bottom....Like a cancer....You cut it out...."

Even if there was nothing left in the end.

He looked her over as she picked from the wide assortment of teas, and when she picked a simple black tea it only caused his curiosity to grow.

"Perhaps....Or maybe I'm waiting for you to prove that you're not a caricature...." He said back to her amused. "So far....I remain unconvinced Ameena...." His amusement growing a bit more before he took a leaned against the countertop to watch her brew the tea, and give her lecture on why bitter was often better. Speaking that dark chocolate is superior. What an appropriate statement for the setting they were in.

"You'll find that I have quite the sweet tooth Ameena....So I appreciate dark chocolate as well...." Though despite having such sweets nearby, his eyes weren't on them instead his gaze lingered on her for a split second longer than necessary before he moved to open the cupboard, and she would find it stocked with chocolates, and lemon flavored delicacies. It was just as he stated, he did have a sweet tooth, and he pulled down two bars, one for each of them, and set them down on the nearby table.

"I won't require cream or sugar....If I'm having a galarian prepare it for me, it'd be a waste to not drink it how it's suppose to be drank....I'd be a poor man to turn down such wonderful hospitality...." He spoke leaning back against the countertop watching how she prepared the tea with genuine interest.
