she's met him before, once or twice. or a few times, actually. nice guy. a little eccentric, a little.. odd, but a nice guy. what confused her was how he decided to call her - her - of all people to a job that involved dancing. someone with two self-proclaimed left feet, but who is she to complain when it's good money? thankfully, now she has a hatterene at her side to be her eyes (through the use of psychic abilities, thankfully). she hums, softly, watching as a man (very ungracefully) lowers himself onto the ground, unceremonious in every sense of the word. still, there's something to be said about how amusing he was. it brought a smile to her face, at least. she kneels down, elbows against her knees leaning her cheek against her hand and, with an amused snicker says "it doesn't technically even need to be a dance" with a confident smile on her face. "it just needs to be something dazzling, nice to look at. something that'll make you see it and go--" she raises her hands, open palmed and shaking them in the air. woo. jazz hands "wauw, sparkle sparkle, what a show. that kind of thing~."

she's grateful for the audible sign, at least. he's being considerate, especially since the footsteps aren't enough to act as a signal. and so the woman raises herself from the seat, gently tucking it into the table when the two of them need to start moving. the aron in her arms is recalled in favour of her moving on closer to a man, though with the intention of reaching over to grab a man by his arm, gently, more as a lead. "hope you don't mind me sticking like this for a bit~" she chimes, cheeks raised as she walks along with relative glee "it'll sell home the image of some couple just wanting to buy gems or something. or siblings, what ever you prefer~" she perks up anyways, at the sound of a voice coming through the ear piece, tilting her head slightly as she adjusted it in her ear "name's aria, and just let me know where i can drop off my pokemon to help with the smuggling, mmn?" she's speaking softly at the tail end. low chance of anyone over hearing, but you can't ever be too sure.

her eyes are kept shut, and she. wears a smile to her lips whilst humming at his tone. though trying to read facial expression was a no go, and she still couldn't tell exactly if her partner really wanted to play a game for the sport, or to swindle. well.. either way, she'll indulge. with an open, artificially coloured glass eye, she smiles and leans over to rest her hands against his shoulders, although mainly to keep herself stable (and so she doesn't accidentally get lost). though she leans down, slightly, to where she thinks his ear is to say "sorry, sorry, don't be mad~" she pats his shoulder, though softly and in more of a playful manner. then she tilts her head, looking down to where she'd think the table is, before humming quietly, and smiling a tad more. "mhm, i know how to play" she starts, leaning forward (like she can see it) "closest to twenty-one wins, right?~"

"oh, wow, hand touching. how lewd~" a tragedy, really. she hears the scoff and knows it's in good humour, but that doesn't stop her from raising her other hand to start poking at a man with a grin on her face. "prude~" she says softly, though doesn't really care if he hears it. [break][break]

moving on, hums and takes a bite of the chicken. good thing she has good hand coordination. "the tea cups sound good." she chimes, finishing what she could of the drumstick "haven't been on those in years, though. don't puke on me~" [break][break]

little does she know, he'd probably spin the ride so much until he did, just to spite her. oh, this was going to be a long day.

she shrugs, tilting her head nonchalantly. "long enough" she smiles, tugging at a man's sleeve as she turns to (what is hopefully) the door, and not a wall, or the door frame. god help her if she runs into those again. ariadne's lips maintain their amusement, however, attempting to guide a man outside the room with her. "i don't wanna be around when it does work, though." she snickers, making her way through the door and to the owner - who seemed just as confused - so she can collect their reward. it's not a permanent solution.. but worst case, she can sell the perfume to them. another time. long term business plans.

she can't see him, but god she can feel his arms around her at least. "pff--" she sputters, slightly, raising her hand to rest on the top of his head "suddenly got real close for a picture. kind of worrisome~" he could definitely suplex her off the edge of the cliff right now, and he probably would if he knew it was safe. but she's not against it. the woman giggles softly as her cheek is poked, and her response is to gently poke the top of his head in response "if it's that much a shame, just bring me up here again, when i can finally see something~" she jests, though half jokingly. honestly speaking, she would love to see the view up there. she'll just have to make do with the picture that her pokemon takes of them.

though she's not exactly excited to wash some veggies, she shrugs and wears a smile on her lips - it's a small thing, but she'll still be excited either way - and it's not every day she can actually do something in the kitchen (her pokemon would stop her, anyways, before anything horrible happens. [break][break]

when she finishes washing, she's on standby to help with smaller things, until the two of them finish with the cooking, and it smells.. oddly familiar. nostalgic, really, like aloha. the nostalgia is bittersweet.

and this, this is exactly why she chose a song that she knew like the back of her hand. the woman only smirks at his challenge, shrugging her shoulders to say "sure, i hope you're ready to get shit-faced~" as she maintains her hold on the microphone. then the song starts to play. [break][break]

she'll admit, maybe she got a bit more into it than she intended to. but on the bright side, she didn't make the score tank; only when she got a lyric wrong, and clumsily tried to recover. whoops.

"nah~" she'll pass, grabbing some herself, anyways. rather, she gently tugs on the tether - not hard enough for him to be pulled back, but just enough for him to feel the slight nudge - as a smile tugs at her lips. "this is why i'm trusting you to grab one or two for me. just one is enough." it's for the superstition. though she's never been too much into it (arceus never did anything for her anyways, fuck you arceus), there's still the fact that she could turn the scale into a piece of jewellery. she knows a jeweller (though it's a give or take, whether or not he'll be happy to see her). and with that, she hangs on for her dear life, gently kicking her legs behind her so a man isn't trying to drag dead weight though the water. it leaves a bad taste in her mouth, you know, not being able to do much of anything in this situation, but at least she has her sobble, and the little guy was definitely the MVP of the mission. how confident. at least she'll have something to hold over his head - since she can't really tell the time or confirm, she'll just have to check through an alarm. or her hatterene smacking her upside the head for being late. it's one or the other. so for now she'll smile, holding the aron in her arms, patting the little steel type who honestly weighted little to nothing. (but she'll play the illusion that he doesn't, what with all the stares she can already feel on her and her noodle looking arms). [break][break]

the sound of a small marble gliding across the table is heard, and she instinctively reaches out to try and find the small thing. once it's between her fingers, she lifts it up, getting a feel before slipping it beneath the layer of her platinum hair to sit snug in her ear. with a hum and a whistling listening to his plan, her smile grows as she leans back in her seat. the aron tilts his head and curiosity. "if that's the case, i can have my pokemon help with the heist." though she only has one pokemon who can help with the technology. [break][break]

she closes her eyes and ponders in thought, fingers gently rubbing the metallic surface of her little armoured.. dog. probably a dog. "i can join you in the distraction. i think i have some pokemon who can deal with some guards?" a sobble's tears should be able to cloud their vision just enough, right? "just gotta pretend i can see em~"

who knew that kneading dough could be so fun? she would see people doing it a lot when she was younger, when she passed by the bakeries that littered the streets down where she used to live. the smell of the pancakes back home are a sweet, sweet reminder of what she used to have with her parents - then the sweet memory is tainted by those parents. ugh. moment ruined. parents won't be a damper to her good time, though, and she continues to knead the dough as well as she can - even if she doesn't quite know what she's doing. if anything, she's playing with the dough after taking it out of the bowl. thankfully, her salazzle takes the sifter and a little bit of additional flour to coat the countertop and the dough as it's being turned and flipped - just to make sure that it doesn't start to stick. "... oh." she notices, pausing. "it's not as sticky anymore."

but what can you do when you're god knows how far above the ground, and you don't know how far a tumble it's going to be? it comes as a slight surprise to her when he pulls his arm over her shoulder, and artificial eyes glance and narrow towards him, a slight tinge of red from the embarrassment glazing over her cheeks and ears. "hey, don't coddle me~" she sticks her tongue out at him, though raises her hand to keep hold on his wrist to maintain his arm. [break][break]
