a confident jab back at him, waiting for the song and instrumentals to begin. she doesn't bother with the beginning words (they're already spoken by the original singers, anyways) and she's heard the song enough times to be able to memorize the lyrics, so no need to worry about forgetting them halfway. stage fright isn't something she needs to worry about, either; just pretend that the people behind you aren't there, and it's easier to do that when you can't see them, and your ears are only focused on the music, anyhow. either way, the music starts, and she's the first one to start, swaying from side to side as she seats herself on the stool at the front. and yes, she's gonna be putting her chest into singing. she has absolutely no intention of losing their little competition.

"if you find one, pass it over to me then~" she's never seen one up close as a kid, though she vaguely remembers what a luvdisc even looked like. what concerned her is the myth surrounding them - and maybe she's a little bit of a romantic, to want a piece of those. or she could just want to sell one, or maybe she could use it as advertising for a new perfume. all of those guesses are equal. her fingers keep a hold on the rope that tethers the two of them together, all while she softly breathes with the air supplied. the sobble swims through the water with ease, only stopping when it comes across a collapsed, underwater cave - to which it starts to let out little, muffled cries under the water, gesturing towards the stones. of course, the trainer can barely hear past the ripples and movements in the water, so she relies on her companion, here. she has words to say, but they're probably best left until after their mission. she sighs. [break][break]

"yeah, i don't intend to let go anytime soon~"

an unceremonious gargle and grunt as a man quite literally shoves a god damn chicken leg into her face. her immediate reaction is to us her other hand to gently shove into where she assumes his face is (and for once, she hits) and tries to smother him with her hand.[break][break]

then she pulls away from the chicken leg, grunting "ay, is that any way to treat a vulnerable lady??" she asks, half offended, but half amused.

who's gonna tell him that she can't see it?[break][break]

she'll let him enjoy himself. instead, she'll just hum idly with her chin resting against the palm of her hand. she's careful leaning on the boat, reaching her arm out to make ripples at the water's surface to gauge the distance. in her other hand, she pulls out a sobble whose first act is to dive into the ocean. [break][break]

"yeah, they shouldn't be down too deep?" she hums softly, adjusting the headgear over her shoulders. "i probably won't be much help" she starts, feeling and pushing for the communicator to turn on "i'll do what i can, yeah~. pabu'll do his best, too."[break][break]

she hums, both eyes closed as she cautiously feels her way to the water "wonder if i can grab a scale from them, too. i heard good things about those~"

"alright, alright. no more stalling~" the woman smiles, glancing to the salazzle with a smile on her lips. "if you wanna join, just pick up the microphone. it's supposed to be a duet song, anyways~." or she could just sing both parts. she's memorized it, with how many times she's played it. [break][break]

and though she's blind, she's not deaf - the opposite, actually.

"sounds easy enough." she smiles, one hand running along the edges of the countertop to act as her guide to the sink, and she quickly washes her hands before the salazzle guides her towards where the bowls and sifter are, along with the flour. it's thanks to the salazzle she's able to tell where the measured flour even was, but otherwise, she sifts the flour like he asks her to, then pours the water into the mix. there's a pause as she starts to mix the flour and water together, only to pause as she feels the mixture hardening, slightly, into something that could be kneaded. it was a curious moment for her, and she reaches into the bowl, feeling the soft texture of a forming dough. [break][break]

"... huh.." she blinks a few times, curiously, as her fingers dig into the dough. ".. so this is what it feels like. heh~"

"peachy." she says with her lips, but her slightly trembling hand is saying otherwise. while she can put her heart to rest from the anxiety, her nerves will tell an entirely different story. curse this flesh. it's one of the few times where she opens her eyes, as though that will change anything. same pitch blackness. "yeah, perfectly fine. don't worry about it~" glass eyes gaze out nowhere in particular (in front of her, though, is where she assumes he is) ".. just a little anxious, i guess."

she shrugs. if things go wrong, then they can just leave the room and wait for the pangoro to calm down. though she doesn't say that; he'd doubtlessly have words against it, anyways. instead, she smiles and waves her hand, dismissively. she tucks the perfume back into the bag "we'll be safe, and this will work. trust me~" [break][break]

"and if anything does go wrong," she starts, raising her hand and pressing her thumb and index finger together, forming a small heart "you'll come to my rescue, riiight?~" she chimes, followed by a snicker and an amused giggle just before (nearly) walking face first into the door.

she can't see him. an absolute waste - granted, she doesn't know if she would want to see him. the soles of her feet determine where the boat is, and she lowers herself into the little thing to properly sit up. another hum escapes her lips as she adjusts herself to make herself comfortable in her seat "i get it, though. i can't say i like the feeling of.. this on my skin" her hand is raised to gently tug at the collar "feels tight, and suffocating."[break][break]

her lips curl into a smile as she lowers her hands, with the intention to grasp the edge of her seat "i bet you still look pretty good in it~. not that i can say for sure, but hey~"

"wow, your cockiness might rival that of a friend's~" she reaches over, with the intention to flick a man's forehead. whether she flicks his cheek or chest (or the air, because she missed), only he would know. regardless, she moves over to the stage and hums softly, though careful with her steps so she doesn't go tripping over anything in the booth. "you mind a longer song?" she asks, popping out her salazzle with a smile to her lips as she begins to tap upon the screen for the trainer. she knows her well enough. "you could join me if you know the song, too~"

though she knows her eating habits are less than stellar, she knows there's a good chance that he won't let this go too easily. so, with a soft sigh, she opens her eyes to give an absentminded, narrow glare at the man offering the tray. "then, feed me~" she says with a smile, holding her hand against his arm as means to keep herself from getting lost in the crowd.

his footsteps come to a stop, and following that hers do too. the woman turns her head around, glancing over her shoulder whilst pensively humming into the air. "see? you're getting it." her lips curl into a wider smile, and her hand grips around the band of her bag. she opens an eye, and gives a casual wink.[break][break]

"they pay us for giving the pangoro some action, and i get to make some money in the future with this perfume. it's a win-win~."
