This togepi was sure not wanting to be found. Techu looked towards Aki with a fleeting look, even with her eyes she wasn't seeing anything! How tragic, they had to find it! The momma was so worried!

But as the cries came from the parrot, Aki looked at Techu. The two stared at each other for a second, then focused back on the bird. "Furr? Ret?" Techu chimed up, trying to ask if it had seen the pokemon it was mimicking.

"Please, we're looking for the togepi... can you show us where it went?"

Aki gave her a look. One of mock offense, clenching her fake pearls. "Oh dear!" She laughed, soon nodding. Grabbing a hold of the yarn and her needles, she moved to show Cat how she was setting up to get started.

"You have to make sure to thread the needles right, and know what kind of stich you're going to do." She said, going to show her how she was doing it. Was a very basic pattern, realy.

"It can be annoying when you have carpel tunnel."

"Just admiring." She admitted, going to take the drink. Sniffing it, she wrinkled her nose. It still smelled so much like booze. But there was a twang too it- citrus? No.. she took a sip. It was sweet- wait this tasted like fruitloops. What the hell? She took another rip. "Holy shit, this is really good!"

Quickly she lifted her glass to Cat's lips to let her taste. Though this had her pausing, meeting her gaze, before smiling sheepishly. "...you make me feel really lucky."

Aki was still fanning her mouth, her victory unnoticed as she whined at the bitter and stinging taste in her mouth and throat. "Blaaaah-"

"Here, lass" Came the bartender, pushing over two red-colored drinks. "Might be a bit sweeter for ye tastes." A wink with his good eye, a nd he disappeared. Aki looked dumbfounded. "Is he being nice or are we just lucky?" She asked, so terribly, terribly confused. But a glance back at Cat, she noticed how the liquor made her cheeks tint at the heat.

Aki loved seeing it, the warmer features really brought out Cat's eyes. Which mean right now, in the rare moment, Aki was just staring at her girlfriends face with the dopest look.

Aki puffed her cheeks out at her girlfriend, teasing her! How rude! Secretly she liked it though. Grabbing her own drink, she stared at it for several hard moments. Then she sniffed it, her nose wrinkling as she made a gagging motion. "Welp." She accepted her defeat, it seemed.

Until she turned the drink up and downed it. Her face soured and her eyes rolled back as she stuck out her tongue. Waving it with her hand. "Oh my gods that Gross." Aki wasn't big into alcohol- at least, non-Japanese alcohol.

""Bleh..."

Was she that obvious?

Was she getting her wish?

Hell yeah!

She scurried over without a second though, she was smiling. "I'll get you some green tea!" She would disappear for a few moments, then returning with a obviously hand painted cup. It wasn't that great- but hey, it was pretty! Aki may... have painted it. "Here you go." She sat it down, then went to snuggle right up with her. Cuddle time, brother!

"Out of her pocket she pulled out some fruit bars, setting them down on the table next to the drinks. "Do you know how to knit?"

Aki felt weird not being the one flustered in this moment. But as he went and explained it to her, it was like a little light blub went off in her head. "Oh!" Then she giggled. "That's-... wait." She thought about that, her expression going dead pan. Did he call her fat?

But it seemed the man couldn't even stay on one subject, he moved fast. Her arms crossed over her chest, looking him up and down now. It was a more critical stare, as if she was actually pondering this over now. It... sounded too good to be true. But what if it was true?

"Um, what company is this for again, if you don't mind me asking...?"

Aki slid off the back of the espeon. Stumbling a bit as she wobbled there for a moment. Going to release her furret, she climbed onto the back of Techu for a easy to control mount. "O-oh! Okay! Bye! Have a good day!"

Nudging Techu, she motioned her forward. "Come on, lets go home."

A loud gasp left Aki as Cathrine even dared asked her such a thing. Flailing her arms and whining, going over and taking her arm to hug it close to her. "Absolutely not! No! I only want you!" She squeaked at her, burying her face into her arm. "I just.. I.. got scared.. bad at... stuff.."

The bartender was trying to wait for them to finish, but he did need to get back to work. Clearing his throat, he called over towards them. "Oi, ladies, ye drinks are here. Don't leave them here alone now, ya here?" He then turned and went back to work.

Aki looked over, then at Cat. "S-sorry. Should.. should we get our drinks?"

Aki felt unsteady, odd coming from someone who bare backed a furret of all things. But this was just odd- she would hold onto Techu to feel her movements, even help guide, but this, this was weird as heck. So she was trying to adjust.

Plus her glasses were not helping with the wind getting in her face. Hair was becoming a wild mess from its' already normal messy bun. "It's different!" She called back, placing her hands back onto Starr's neck. "Don't think it's my forte, but it's not bad!"

Seeing how her daughter was about to lose her marbles, Angel decided it was time to take her husband and let the two young ones be. "Dear, come, I want to go to lunch." A gentle tug to Kain's hand, and the man looked like puddy.

"Yes, dear" He followed without a single complaint. Love in this house was shown.

With her embarrassment coming down, Aki set her head on Cats shoulder. "Sorry..." Another apology. "Um, would you like something to drink? A snack?" Her large yarn covered chair had a mug and snacks next to it.

"Chair is big enough for two.."

Ah, seems she was trying to get cuddles
