Marilyn smiled at the sincerities, a curiosity meeting her gaze- there weren't many that were fond of poisoners, as some saw the act of sneaking hazardous fluid into drinks ready to be consumed as a weakness rather than a true exhibition of strength and prowess. The thought that she could have been one who indulged in similar practices was appealing, endearing even. "As am I, sweetheart! You're just so sweet, a blessing emerged from the rotten youth." She said with a gargled giggle, tapping on the table, wondering just what the woman of such beauty had been truly capable of.[break][break]

That was until her pondering brought her to realize the fact she was indeed a poisoner; the infamous Elisabeth Fiorelli, that one woman of exquisite beauty that had made her way onto the television screens on the prison walls. When she heard of such virulent misdoings she clapped in joy inside the prison cells with the other girls- she was a fan, a catalyst of knowing others followed in her footsteps, intentionally or organically. Having a first interaction with her like this was fitting, a long-awaited tea ceremony that she'd dreamed of for ages, though she kept that specific admiration a secret for now.[break][break]

"They do, of course! I've had my fair share of bad first impressions, but this one is up there with the best of the best, dear," she spoke slowly and softly, "..oooh, it's been a while. Have you ever tried ceylon? You, fix us some ceylon with lemon slices." Pointing at the worker of the tea room with the bottom of her cane, it would become apparent that it was fashioned to be a makeshift shotgun, though she twirled it around as if it were nothing but ordinary.[break][break]

As for the Roselia who sat with Elisabeth at the table, it appeared anything but ordinary. A curious specimen, one that she assumed was a variant that had emerged in her time behind bars. The same amount of time it took ceylon tea to increase in rarity, though maintaining its status as the finest tea in the world. It was what Marilyn figured the two poisoners deserved, as in their eyes, they were both champions.

The message was clear with what was said to unfold upon the resurfaced island and it’s immediate vicinity, a resonance of discordance appealing to the grandmother with a distaste for what the universe had gifted her. She was late to attend, but being late only meant there would be more and more stragglers to tend to. Looming through the skies with a large masked strapped to her wrinkled cheeks, she giggled as the interdream mist flickered below the flying Golurk and herself, spotting prey just below them.[break][break]

Struck by the pulsation of the psywave that had emerged from his pokemon, the ghost type was convinced more than ever to retaliate; it had not needed the commands that came from Marilyn’s squeals to get the young man and throw him from the clouds, either. Detaching one of its spectral iron fists from the rest of its body, the large pokemon attempted to use SHADOW PUNCH against the grotesque living slime of an opponent it had found.[break][break]

She was definitely aware of his prominence in the Elite Four, but her grudges spawned further due to his uncanny resemblance to a security guard at the facility she was held in for all those years. Two birds with one stone, though one of the flock happened to simply be an excuse.

Though Marilyn was estranged from the very concept of technology, the closest thing dear to her being automotive machines and old-fashioned guns, going into the simulation was met with a desire to be open-minded to whatever it was said to present. It was strange being hooked up to such advanced machinery; though, her wish to be open-minded was fueled by the claims made by the system itself. There were claims that her physical abilities could be enhanced upon entry. If it were true that she'd be able to walk again without a cane, even perhaps being able to run as if she were in her twenties, being exposed to such foreign probes would all be worth it.[break][break]

Maybe this is what all those young girls whined about being deprived of in the final moments of being jailed, the longing for video games that the granny could never wrap her brain around. The feeling in her legs, when she'd entered, felt unlike they ever did once she hit the big five-o; she grinned and giggled profusely when she realized, tossing the manifestation of her cane into the abyss that accompanied the prolific scenery. And to top it all off, the woman who greeted them looked just as old-fashioned and decadent as she wished the rest of the younger generations to dress from what she could see through the shadows. Modest, even if her words were quite confusing.[break][break]

She shot the white-haired man beside her a bewildered look at first, but decided to go in full-hearted, no matter how obscure. But what in hell was a hexenzirkie? "We know plentiful things about the Hexen.. zirkel, yes! In the right place we are, dear." She said confidently, albeit extremely confused as to what she was referring to. All the more questions to ask when the two were to return from the simulation, no doubt. Unless the woman was to elaborate.

Technology had advanced far beyond her wildest dreams while she was in jail, and though she typically felt estranged when encountering such foreign processes since her release, being picked up in such finery only brought more excitement to her wrinkled cheeks. It was mostly due to the invitation and the beautiful scent that came with it; the thought to finally begin carrying out the vengeance on the universe she sought brought venomoths into her stomach, unfurling their wings. The limousine driver could pick up on this well as she could not shut up, rambling on and on about the life she left behind when brought to justice and her youth spent visiting Sootopolis.[break][break]

Marilyn thanked the driver with a big kiss on the cheek before wandering inside, her jeweled cane hitting the floor with her slow, curious steps. The tea house was a marvel in itself, her eyes widening in delight as they soaked in all the surroundings, comfort resonating within her heart- And the same was brought when meeting her gaze with the only woman inside, the source of such decadence with the sending. When looking at the woman she saw a bit of herself in all the pleasantries, as if she was omnipotent, peering at who she once was in the streets of Goldenrod.[break][break]

"Hi sweetheart, you look divine! All the delight is mine, dear," she grinned, placing down her belongings and slowly bringing herself to a struggling kneel across from the woman, ".. I've never been in an automotive of that nature, it was so joyous, so fine. Just like the Cadillac my husband used to drive me around in, but so big!" Her age was present within her words, her breaths just as raspy as the excited giggles that left between them.[break][break]

But she knew from her past encounters with such younger generations that most were not fond of her rambles, even if she could not bear to push down such lighthearted desires. She held a hand out to give a welcoming kiss to the underboss if she were to accept. "And this tea house is so fine, too. You wish to meet with me, even with my readily available records from the prison? Most spit at me in the streets, quite unwelcoming to their elders." She said softly, releasing an overjoyed Sinistea which had been previously concealed within her hat. The granny had her theories as to why she wished to meet, though as most of her theories had been proven incorrect due to a lack of knowledge of the new world she’d re-emerged into, she was open to anything.
