lacing the ball of his new friend into his pocket. arian turned to fernando, and said, "oh, that poliwrath is gonna be in a world of hurt when i'm done with this little guy; so you better keep him in tiptop shape!" arian said, a beaming grin given. before he could say anything else, a happy-go-lucky shinx began to ram its head into his back leg. "ah, why hello there." the shinx was an electric-type, and female at that.

the pokemon was blushing. not out of embarrassment, but bashful anger. it wanted to go with its ally, staryu. it seemed to have been friends with not only the poliwrath, but staryu as well. "you're a feisty one!" arian spoke to the female. "if you wish to come with me, you'll have to prove your worth my little friend. i'll take you in, but i expect you to be ready to work hard. is that alright with you?" the shinx, confidantly, nodded.

taking out a ball. he'd enlarge it, "this staryu is really popular." throwing the ball atop of the shinx's head, it would come to be absorbed within the beam of red light. "it must be my lucky day or something; who would've thought lady luck could be so kind!" arian began to look around, wondering if the shinx had anymore friends. "anyone else want to come?!" looking toward fernando, he'd ask, "have you ever been this lucky before?" arian boasted, his chest puffed out and his nostrils flared.

wkward for some, but not for him. arian moseyed down the path toward the hotel. wearing only the finest of suits, his hands were placed in his pockets. "y'know," he broke the ice, "you don't have to be nervous." he watched her from the peripheral vision of a single eye, his other closed. "i don't bite unlike my mentor." referring to FERNANDO SILPH, he was unaware of the relation she had with fernando. but he kept his nose clean.

on occasion he saw the duo together. so he merely took it as a sign that they were coworkers. it was none of his business of course, but, "hey, do you like FERNANDO SILPH?" he'd bluntly ask. a cheeky grin given toward the caramel toned female.

t was nice to see her smile. "well, i'll lead the way." and into the depths of the shadowy forest they ventured. "stay close to me, the pokemon here aren't to be taken lightly. dark-type pokemon are quite a nuisance--a menace even." he was never a fan of dark-types for their ferocious nature, but he had little disdain for them. as a matter of fact, he envied them. "dark-types are truly special creatures!" arian, jovially, expressed.

"something about them is just mystifying. it's hard to put a finger on it, but it's like..." pressing a finger against his chin, he thought, "...it's like they're the manifestation of human natures hidden form." dark-types weren't a fan in specific regions, and that was due to their reputation and type being seen as the embodiment of evil. but arian thought differently.

rian took in everything she said. standing behind her. watching with hollow filled orbs as she spoke. "fascinating." a smile, one that withheld intrigue, had been given. "you're an intriguing one. it's rare to find those with such a mindset. many tend to view pokemon as tools of war; whereas i, on the other hand, view them as people." caressing an empty ball capsule in the palm of his hand. he'd come to hear the sound of a bark.

umbreon guided the duo to a tree that sprouted many moonflowers. aglow, underneath the large tree, a growlithe--injured--rested upon the bed of flowers. "there you are." passing delphi and her pokemon, he'd come to kneel before the fire-type. "i've been searching for you. the dog who's unable to be tamed." extending his hand, the growlithe growled. "you're really growly aren't you? i guess it wouldn't fit your name if you weren't." a finger pressed upon his lips, as if telling the dog to settle down.

"you're riddled with anger, why is that?" he questioned. the dog's right leg had been greatly injured. arian shot a glance to his leg. "i challenge you to a game: guess what the growlithe is thinking? i guess right, you let me help you and come with me. i guess wrong, we'll leave you alone to fend for yourself, treat your wound of course, and make sure no one ever comes to bother you until the end of your days." empty eyes and colorful words made the dog hesitant yet agree to the terms. listening to what the human had to say, "you're probably thinking, 'he's only here to capture me' or 'he's just like the others', how about 'he sees me as nothing more than just a tool'!" a shift in expression, the growlithe had been surprised.

"gotcha." a grin remained, "...you're not wrong, i am here to catch you. but not for selfish gain. only because i think you and me will get along. i like games growlithe! games bring people together, i'd like to teach you how to play." crossing his index fingers, he'd say, "all you have to do is seal a contract with me, and to remain by my side forever until the end of my days." the growlithe felt as if he were within a trance. talking to the human, having forgotten that he was on his guard. "we'll have many happy days, perhaps even sad ones. but i'd like to share them with you if you'll have me."

extending the pokeball, arian, finalizing his thoughts, concluded, "just press this button and we'll be on our way to get you treated; along with a new life." the growlithe, with a hesitant thought, did not want to at first. alas, his body spoke otherwise and thus was absorbed into the ball by a red beam of light.

i love this. give me this. i want this!!! i agree with it all, and i'd love to have some people who share in his naughtiness!! [break]
i definitely wish to keep him in the alignment of chaotic neutral, but also want to form a group of like-minded people who share in his maddening nature.

like, i kinda want to make an inner-circle kind of thing. something like, "2 (3 technically, including arian) leagues, 2 rockets" something accumulative to the seven deadly sin; there's no name for them, but they're just there. a group of people who exist and are all the way chaotic neutral. these individuals are members are part of their respective groups on the surface, but behind closed doors they're having a banter and enjoying the show.

the battle between league vs. rocket has been a fun experience. so why not assist in shaking it up a little more? one may choose to involve themselves, one may not and simply can sit back and watch how this plays out. we're not evil, but we're not good either. we're just there to enjoy and participate, like being patrons of a murder mystery dinner party.

we're not a menace to society, but we're nothing to take lightly either. fuck some shit up behind the scenes if we must. this is just all a big game to them. hoenn is the board, and they're just players watching the pieces be knocked off. give me all the threads with cinnamon, let's be each others red little man dancing on each others shoulder.

n his defense they were just unprepared challengers. "hey, it's not my fault. i'm suppose to be a challenge, right? i wouldn't be a gym leader if i allowed everyone who crossed my gym win so easily." arian chuckled. he made sure to take a note that her favorite color was green.
