cry of absorption sounded. he was captured by surprise, turning only to see the girl grasping hold of a gastly. backing a few feet away. he'd stare with a look of shock, "a-ah...ah..." his faced exhibited the image of fear. was it of her? no, it wasn't. the expression wasn't right. what this male possessed was not fear; rather, it was exaltation. "y-you...have a lyncaroc!!"

he hadn't seen the true form of zoroark, but that's fine. it was still a lycanroc nonetheless. arian began to examine the creature from all sides: back, front, left, right. he didn't miss a chance to skim every nook and cranny of the pokemon. he was now on the ground, butt wiggling in the air, as he examined the creature from underneath. "hey, hey, let me ask you a question!" sitting up, he'd ask, "you just lied, didn't you?" arian bluntly stated. a childish snicker followed.

he more he spoke, the more his jaw grew agape. he wrote all of this down. nodding, listening, and taking in. "as always, you've taught me something amazing, mr. fernando!" an ecstatic tone. arian, as always, appreciated his mentorship. "let me treat you to some mango gelato! my treat as payment for your assistance, on the house for you and your pokemon!" arian chimed. an arm placed around his mentor's bicep, pulling him to the bar. "and while we're at it, we're gonna have a talk about finding you a special girl; let's fix that scowl on your face." a hearty laughter followed, "let's go, let's go!"

urning around to face alexander. arian lightly ran to greet the veteran leader--no--owner of devon corporation. "hey, hey, alexnader!" a casual smile given. the blonde male chuckled, and said, "i haven't been waiting long, friend! i was wondering if it'd be okay if i could use your training facility; i have get my pokemon in proper shape for an upcoming gym battle soon, haha."

he spoke of fernando. the male was strong, and well-known for his strength. sure, gambling may have been on arian's side. but pokemon battling was the male's expertise; though, it isn't to say that arian was lightweight himself. after all, battling was no different from a simple gambling match or even a casual game. "i'm here to sharpen the blades of my pokemon, polish their skills, train the newbies, and utilize the technology here!" leaning, hands behind his back, arian would say, "pretty please! i'll even give you a battle with my new growlithe!" growlithe could use the training anyway.

bannette?! he tried to contain himself. cheeks, rose-colored, were now aglow. clearing throat and facing forward he'd examine the vicinity. "well, i don't think he was haunting only the kitchen to be exact. this is just the last place he was sent, but nothing looks out of the ordinary." thinking back to what they explained, they even said, "the kitchen was apparently a mess as told by the cooks. but this place is spotless--" suddenly the door shut behind him.

"there we go!" arian spoke with joy, realizing, "wait, that's not good!" running toward the door, he'd attempt to unlock. but it was frozen shut. emerging from the shadows behind the duo was no gastly, no bannette, not even a mimikyu. it was a gengar. turning around to face it, the mischievous pokemon was ready to play.

atching from a distant, arian had been surprised. to have a fan so suddenly. she was quite the attraction for the darkness. "you have a knack for this. i'm surprise you're no gym leader." arian chuckled. "you're the type of gal who seems to possess a knack for danger, aren't you?" dragon-types were dangerous and,some, dark-types were hellish. that's not to say this is the case for everyone or all of them, it's just what he was taught and heard stories. perhaps they were wrong.

mazed. arian would say, "so that's the inevitable escape technique!" he's heard much about it, but never seen it in person. "what an interesting power to possess; the power to seal your opponent within a vicinity." he wondered if the entire building was on lock-down or if it had just been that specific area. "gentlemen." with just a simple snap the bodyguards of kings dominion came.

"apprehend him. make sure he doesn't escape, take him to the velvet room and await further instructions." and without little complaint the man had been taken away, but arian had questions for fernando. he took on a serious tone and manner for a brief moment, but suddenly reverted back to a childlike expression. "that was so cool!? hey, hey, how does that ability work?! did your mimikyu do that?! you have to tell me about the difference between mean look and block!" the pokemon enthusiast was here, and he had questions...oh dear.

simple grin. a white suit. blonde, kempt hair. cerulean pupils watched from afar as they approached. his seviper, coiled around, acted as a resting chair. a slithery hiss had been made as a gentle stroke atop of the head filled it with joy. "there, there boy. i know you're growing impatient, sorry we can't play right now." arian expressed with sadness. "i know tag is your favorite game, but we'll have to let kyle lopez take care of that." who would've thought a man such as himself was this capable?

it was through recommendation by the league he be sent out with kyle lopez . their first time meeting, he was astonished to see an individual with not one, not two, but six full-fledged mightyena's. it baffled arian, "a team like that mustn't be taken lightly." arian musingly grinned. it was then he heard upon the radio residing in his hand speak of the assailants arriving soon. "oh?" they're right on time.

by his side remained a growlithe. ready and on standby, arian examined beneath him the at-ease dog. "you'll be watching growlithe. so be sure to sit this one out." the fire dog's expression was a bit surprised. wondering why did its trainer wish for such a thing, he was soon to find out.

"congratulations! you all win, we've been found!" standing up and giving the group a round of applause. the jovial gym leader, then, administered a sinful smile, "your prize? you're all going to jail." of course killing wasn't an option. he was a member of the league after all, it was a must that they exercise benevolence. "let's see, you can all turn around now and act as if this meeting never occurred." that was the preferable option, "or you're all utterly defeated here, get sent to jail, and become laughing stocks of rocket: what will you choose?"

"how annoying, we're doing this the hard way?" his right hand upon the radio. arian's free hand, being his left, placed the palm of his hand upon his forehead. a deep sigh uttered he'd contact kyle lopez , and said,
