Call it time off, call it irresponsible behavior, call it whatever you will, Kim called it peaceful.
For once, after what seemed like ages, Kim had turned off any electronics he had on his person, refusing to answer any calls, attend any meetings, or talk to anyone he would rather avoid. His aim for the day was to sit out in nature and enjoy it for as long as he could.
And the only place he deemed fit for such a task would be none other than a hidden area he had found and claimed for himself back in his more laid back days. Back when the only worries he had on his mind involved what he was going to wear for the day and how he’d dress his pokemon to match. Much simpler times when he could take a moment to breathe and not have someone counting every breath he took.
He wishes he hadn’t taken something so simple for granted.
But pressure just seemed like another aspect of growing up, he had to do it someday.
But for now, the societal pressures would not dare mind him, for a blissful clearing lay just past a subtle brush, the councilman pushing through with his Teddiursa by his side, the cub just as excited for a rush of nostalgia to wash over him as his trainer.
Until he spotted someone, the childish smile escaping Kim and quickly being replaced with a frown, that in turn shifting to the soft grin that had usually sat on his face. Though, it would not last long, the facade quickly cracking as hs grit his teeth, his hands clenching into one another.
For once, he wanted to enjoy being alone, to not have to see another person’s face all day. He wanted to spend time where he knew no one was. But lo and behold, someone had intruded on a space as sacred to him as this.
“What the fuck are you doing here?”
It sure was irritating.
