Giving an unmistakable expression of pissed the Steel-type centered itself and made a mismash of 'whirs' and 'clicks' and 'hums' as it seemed to focus in on Charmander. Then, it began to create a focused point of glowing white energy; what Sénon feared was HYPER BEAM.

Magneton used LOCK-ON!

"GO!" He pointed at the steel type to show his urgency and the tone of the moment "BEFORE IT FIRES, USE FIRE FANG!"

Facing its defeat head on the little light on the lizards tail flared as it wide jumped to clear their distances sinking its fiery fangs into the steel shell of the Magneton once more.

Magneton suffered burn damage!
Charmander used FIRE FANG; its super effective!

Unable to take the penetrating heat it passed out in defeat and shortly the Charmander dropped it at his master's feet for an easy capture when Senon hit it with an empty pokeball.

Crimsen attempted to capture Magneton!

He was getting better at using his phone to access the dataDEX on the fly. Seeing a pawniard before him he only recognized it as the pre-evolution of Bisharp.

Listed as Dark and Steel he one pokemon on hand that would make quick work of a Bisharp; even quicker work of the pokémon it evolved from. Calling charmander back so he could take a break, Jūken would take his place. Croagunk would be called out as well; to support his sparring partner fighting someone else.

The Riolu stepped forward to fight and when the Sharp Blade Pokémon smashed its head into the little fighter he only waited a moment for orders before deciding the next move himself. "Use COUNTER, then FORCE PALM"

Pawniard used IRON HEAD!
Jūken used COUNTER; its super effective!
Pawniard used SWORDS DANCE!
Jūken used FORCE PALM; its super effective!

Smashing back into its blade-horned opponent with a more powerful headbutt to COUNTER its IRON HEAD the 'bisharp to be' used a SWORDS DANCE to raise its power for another attack.

Though before it could use its next attack, a focused FORCE PALM from the Riolu generated a wind powerful enough slam its small body into the rocky walls where a pokéball hit it moments after it hit the ground.

Soon, a Sandstorm would begin to brew within the cave. Visibility would begin to lower, and Thomas would instinctively shield his eyes with his arm. As he wandered around blindly, a Gible would begin to approach him, under the cloak of its Sand Veil. The Gible would finally make its move, charging the human with a Dragon Rush. It was because the creature cried out in the process that Thomas was able to detect the creature coming, and to hit the deck before the Gible could strike him.

The Gible sailed over the trainer, ending up touching the ground. In response, Colt the Clawitzer would fire off an Ice Beam towards the Gible. The sand dragon would Dig underground to avoid the coming of the Ice Beam. For a moment, Thomas and Colt waited for the creature to emerge, before the Gible managed to emerge behind the Clawitzer, and blast its backside with a burst of Dragon Rage. The Clawitzer let out a 'yelp' of surprise and pain.

The burst of Dragon Rage was enough for Brutus to identify the position of the Gible. Utilizing Bullet Punch to quickly close the gap, he would follow up with an Ice Punch. Despite its attempts to get away, the Bullet Punch came too fast for it to react to. The subsequent Ice Punch was more than enough to put the dragon out of commission, causing it to drop to the ground.

As the sandstorm subsided, Thomas looked to the others. "Everyone okay?", he asked. Though Colt was clearly angry with getting blasted in the back, it was more of an annoyance than anything. Thomas would get up, and check on the Gible. Seeing how it did, Thomas figured the sand dragon had plenty of potential, and would opt to capture the thing.
