valerio did not have the time to test his theory, but it looks like togepi has some powers awakened by the shadowfication that he is yet to discover. going back to the old place where they once practiced, the rocket holds his togepi close to his body as they both explore the grassy terrain of route 115.[break][break]

their steps are blocked by a clefairy, rolling down into valerio's feet, stopping him from taking another step. togepi's hands swirl and waves and the clefairy continues rolling into the cliff. "did you do it?" he asks eggnog, responding with a chirp.[break][break]

loud flaps of wings echo from behind them, valerio knows this is hardly the size of a crobat. its flying is different, similar to a bat, but much larger. the rocket only knows a few of these creatures who can be large enough but still be ginormous.[break][break]

“you hear that, eggnog? i think today's my lucky day.” the pokémon responds with another chirp. turning around, the noivern begins his assault.[break][break]

his dragon wings flutter with so much power, supporting himself midair as he forms a ball of energy and beams toward their direction. togepi retaliates; a flicker from his hands make them glow in dark veil, shadow metronome casting a mirror in-front of them, reflecting the dragon pulse back at the noivern.[break][break]

with his incredible power, the noivern falls. valerio picks up a premier ball from his satchel. while series of misfortune surrounds his egg creature, he feels incredibly lucky.[break][break]
