The thick fog made it near impossible to see without a guide of some sort, hence why the scientist's ninetales trotted by her side, each tail alight with a blue flame. A faint flicker in the distance caught Circe's attention, and it didn't take long until she approached, coming face to face with a young woman soon afterwards. "Ah, and here I thought you might've been a rare pokemon." Her words feigned amicability, as she let a smile coax itself onto her lips.

Whilst some part of her said to leave it at that and continue her trek elsewhere, for one reason or another, she found herself lingering by the other trainers side. "Are you lost?" Concern tinged her voice.

"Well, it is rather dreary here, I suppose." Circe mused aloud. The presence of death lingered on the mountain from the graves that littered it and ghost types frolicked about with delight; most other pokemon likely avoided this place because of it. Despite its somber history though, the quietness of the area mildly pleased the scientist - it gave her plenty of changes to think and reflect.

In the distance, a grave shifted about. Unearthing itself from the tombstone, a palossand rose, looking particularly sluggish and full, spitting out what the woman can assume was only bones. It was a natural occurrence, given the pokemon's nature, but it didn't fail to make Circe nearly wince. How...unsightly. Her ninetales bristled with unease, the foxes' eyes glowing and releasing a violet hex. The mystical attack hit the living sand castle square on, and it slumped to the ground quickly soon afterwards. A pokeball was tossed, and the pokemon was promptly sucked inside of it.

"Unfortunately not. I've heard a faint wailing in the distance though...Ah, maybe I'm being haunted?" She seemed more excited about the idea than scared.

"Maybe." Circe mused once more, drawling over the possibility with a shrug of her shoulders. "Given the nature of this place, it wouldn't surprise me." She paused for a moment, pink and blue stare flickering about. "You don't find this place depressing?" She motioned towards the tombstones that littered the overgrown area. "It must be just full of vengeful spirits." 

The fast, ghastly dragon zipped about, the ninetales' sight barely able to keep up with it. A quick attack to pin the smaller creature down followed by a glowering confuse ray did the trick though. As the dragon sluggishly tottered about, Circe tossed a pokeball at it.

"I suppose you have a point." Circe answered with a small nod. Speaking of the devil, a lunatone hovered nearby, getting increasingly closer with each passing moment. The nine-tailed fox by her side moved once more, a quick attack drawing the pokemon closer before it assaults the lunatone with a critical hex before a hypnosis from its foe could be sent its way. A pokeball is tossed towards the downed lunatone.

"So," Circe curiously drawled, "what brought you to this spooky domain today? Just simple pokemon hunting?" Her voice is pleasant and kind.

Circe, halfheartedly, listened to the other woman. Thankfully, she was quite well at multitasking. The appearance of the two pokemon sparked and interest - specifically the raichu. Her ninetales was briefly distracted in terrorizing a litwick, as a hex had knocked the poor thing out rather easily. But, her sights were set onto the electric rodent. She threw a pokeball forth, intending on possibly swiping the capture right from under June's nose. However, the wild pokemon was sucked into the other woman's device first. It made Circe's pokeball go flying overhead and instead swallow up the litwick.

"I was." Circe's voice had turned abruptly frigid with irritation, a hand resting on her hip as she glanced towards June. "Until a brat took what was mine." Niceness was dropped in favor of outstretching a hand towards June, "give it to me."
