kyle tosses a frisbee up in the air. it flies in a nice arc, causing a smile on kyle's face. he hasn't found the time to play with a frisbee recently, so it was nice to see that he can still throw it properly.

'maybe i should get people to play ultimate with me.'

he expects his mightyena to catch it, only for the disc to hit him at the back of his head. he doesn't budge though, outside of a small whimper, as his attention is fixated on something else.

kyle follows his gaze, wondering what might have caught his attention.

the mightyena walks towards the direction of the sound and slinks into the bushes. kyle watches from his spot, unmoving, as he waits for his pokemon to come back after investigating the object of its attention.

it comes back as the vegetation catches smoke, all with a curled up whirlipede covered in embers. the mightyena carries it with its fire fang towards kyle, who reflexively retracts away from it.

"no!" he scolds, before he grabs a pokeball. "don't! stop! bad doggy, bad!"

he lobs a pokeball at the whirlipede on its mouth, eventually stopping the pokemon from further tormenting the bug-type with its weakness. he quickly follows it up with going over to the bushes the mightyena came from, stomping the fire out of the bushes before it becomes a full blown forest fire.
