Turning to face the man the Starmie seemed to linger long enough to consider what the human was going on about. "I could really use your help." He thought hard and with interest pushing his honest intent to the forefront of his mind; like a ripe fruit for a psychic talent to pluck from his thoughts. "I think we could really help each other, grow stronger together." Watching closely the turtles held back but their worry for their trainer was only just beaten out by their trust of him, their thoughts much easier for the starmie to take in. "We could battle." He reached for an empty pokéball, putting it down on the ground before him as he got down in a crouch. "For some reason, asking you felt like the way to go." Approaching no more he waited patiently for the water-type to close the distance on its own. "You can trust me." In his mind the memories of the pokémon he lost flashed before him but he didn't let those hurtful reminders deter him or stave off his potential to grow further by asking this new pokémon to join him. "You can trust me." In his mind he focused on the imagery of starmie triggering the pokéball to show it how to willing join his team, while also thinking hard of all the adventures and victories they could have together. Eventually, the starmie came forward and with one its edges, triggered the activation button on the front side of the empty pokéball. Seeing a familiar pokémon he walked over to the water, ignoring the Rhydon making a fuss. "Chewtle." He pointed to the pinkfish that seemed to swim deep after being identified. "Jaw Lock. Bring it to me." There he was again. The stranger who couldn't handle doing his own thing in the same space as someone else. "You think talking instead of force builds weakness?" The snapping turtle had barely managed to slip into the water before the other guy came with an opinion the redhead hadn't asked for. "That's strange given you haven't stopped talking yet." Chewtle used JAW LOCK! (an unforeseeable amount of times!) How old was this kid; seeing things in such black and white concepts? The turtle surfaced with the pinkfish secure in its jaws; other identical bites in several places on the comatose fish. "This pokémon is a fabled healer, if you dont understand why that's important in a fight, you'll never be champion." Bag and tag; he triggered a premier ball against the pinkfish having very specific plans for this 'chansey of the sea'. Crimsen attempted to capture Alomomola! |

With the annoying kid moving on ahead to do his own thing. Sénon swung his focus onto a Mareanie making a dash through the waters. Well known for their powerful poisons it wasn't a target he'd come here with the mindset to capture but it was one he would be taking home anyway. Setting the entire Turtle Troop after it he gave them all their separate orders. "Kiri; ANCIENT POWER." One by one they took to the waters in pursuit taking their orders in stride as the moved. "Chewtle you used BODY SLAM." Without an electric or grass types around he couldn't exploit the Mareanie's weaknesses instead it was up to his pokémon to pummel it inside submission with their superior numbers and tactics. "Wartortle when you get the chance your move is SKULL BASH." Wartortle lowered her head... Kiri used ANCIENT POWER! Chewtle used BODY SLAM! Wartortle used SKULL BASH! It didn't take long for the three reptiles to drag their barbed target back to the surface where the 'red ranger' had a pokéball waiting for it. Crimsen attempted to capture Mareanie! Having his pockets full of pokéballs Sénon was more or less pleased with his gains; Goldeen, Ryhorn, Horsea, Starmie, Alomomola and a Mareaine to close it off. He exited cave wondering if he'd ever see that guy again. Content to challenge him and his stupid philosophies at the 'top', if either of them made it there. ● balls: remaining: 11● tags: ● notes: capture attempt |
