Caraxes the Gabite was...feisty and while usually he was restrained for the most part due to his Trainer, the latter had given the Dragon free reign for the job at hand. As such once on set Caraxes would at first appear to be energetically hyper, acting like a raptor, or bird-like as it pecked about with it's maw and claws alike. But, as time passed things would proceed to heat up as he used SAND TOMB.

Conjuring a sandstorm around the entire city Caraxes would then light it aflame with Dragon Breathe, slowly, but surely causing the sand to come aflame, some parts crystallizing into glass. With the storm now flinging earth, debris, glass shards, and flames it wouldn't take long until the entire city was gone.

The Monster had been successful before The Hero could even leave their dressing room....

Sliiiiip!

Just as the madness had begun it would seem to end....only to reboot itself into a new image.

It was a....war? Team Rocket members could be seen by their Red "R" uniforms as they raced through the smoke, fighting civilians, Trainers, and League members alike. It was because of this focus on the unraveling event that Rufio would remain ignorant to his surroundings for the most part, yet again. He didn't pay attention to anyone directly, so if they appeared to be the same folk as from before he wouldn't have noticed.

But, with the chaos so would Rufio's blood boil into action once more, though not out of rage, merely fueled by his ambition of strength. Summoning forth Morph the Morpeko and Zweihander the Doublade, Rufio would come to wield the latter Pokemon as a set of swords while ordering Morph to afford them some more light by on and off emitting a glaring light through electric pulses.

Yet, it would seem that he would've garnered some attention as a Grunt began to charge toward him with a Houndoom beside them.

Morph use Aura Wheel and send that Houndoom flying, Zweihander use Sacred Sword!

Snkkt!

It was war, right?

In just a few seconds he had battered away the Grunt's electric baton and with the second sword he'd drive it deep into her chest cavity before backing away, ignorant to the fact that he had gone ethereal, physical, and then ethereal again. Due to this he'd begin to become quite aggravated that his future attempts to garner attention would do little to nothing.

Rufio is summoned, finding himself confused amid the chaos, but once more relishes it
Rufio summons Morph the Morpeko and Zweihander the Doublade
Rufio is seen by a Grunt
Morph the Morpeko uses Aura Wheel on Houndoom
Rufio and Zweihander the Doublade use Sacred Sword and "Kill" the Grunt
Rufio proceeds to be aggravated that he can't seemingly get any other Grunts to see him
Rufio remains ignorant of everything that's really happening, i.e; doesn't recognize the ethereal form, etc.

Wait...Had they been toyed with from the beginning?!

As if the Pheromosa had been playing with them from the start she'd knock Rufio and Zweihander away, the latter not realizing that Moore the Mudkip too had been counter attacked, yet heavily so. The amphibian was left rolling on the ground shrieking in pain causing Rufio to return it to it's Poke Ball, gritting his teeth the tattooed teen would rise back to his feet, still wielding either sword of Doublade in his hands.

In the unfolding chaos it seemed Lockjaw had attacked the man that had attacked those nearby before being swatted away, surprisingly the man had a hand left. Regrouping as Pheromosa recovered the "stone" Rufio, Doublade, and Croconaw would be left standing in place as things continued to...spiral down.

Whatever the stone had been it was no Mega Stone and in the blink of an eye it seemed that all was lost, a myriad of glowing kick like constructs flying toward all of those in the vicinity. A wall of death awaited them...

But, Rufio was defiant.

Lockjaw was still in a Rage as well and with Zweihander's loyalty to their Trainer, the trio would attack right back.

As such Rufio and Zweihander would begin to attack the energy constructs thrown their way, using Aerial Ace again to both avoid some of the attacks while also swatting at others to divert their trajectory or to cut them clean in half and destroy them. If they got hit, would they survive?

Meanwhile Lockjaw had latched onto Rufio's back, acting as a new back up for the ginger after Mudkip's injury had taken place earlier. Yet, with their enraged state what could they do other than attack with melee strikes? This worry and mental argument would begin to confuse Lockjaw, the glowing rage in his very body would begin to blink out of existence then only to leave him in a delirious state.

What if Lockjaw couldn't protect his Master? Despite Rufio's harsh out look on Trainer to Pokemon relationships, this was not to say that his POKEMON loved him nonetheless. Most of them had burning loyalty in the teen, thanking him for making them stronger, but also bonding with the teen in such a way even if it didn't seem equal from Rufio's part.

Confused and full of anxiety at this point the "lost" Croconaw would continue to wince as if in both physical and mental pain. Yet, through it's nearly closed eyelids it could see it, one of the kicks about to make it through Rufio and Doublade's guard...He had to...

ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Leaping from Rufio's back the crocodile Pokemon would take charge, having jumped in front of his allies Lockjaw would begin to unknowingly glow though the distinct nature of such was well known to Rufio whom would be taken back in awh nonetheless.

Mid-air Lockjaw would begin to evolve, fueled by the devout loyalty and love it had for it's Trainer, believing that it's life didn't mean anything without it's Trainer. As such Croconaw would become Feraligatr and Lockjaw's mind would become unfogged, unbothered, and his body was empowered with newfound strength. Still left moving forward from their leap Lockjaw would sneer, hot breath emitting from it's lips before it almost "exploded" forward even further while glowing orange. In this Lockjaw would attempt to shatter the energy kick that dared come toward Rufio via it's SUPERPOWER technique. Raking at the "kick" with it's claws  before bursting forward and seeking to attack Pheromosa as well Lockjaw would be ignorant to the fact that Rufio had just questioned his view on his idea of Pokemon x Master relationship, if only for the Pokemon on his person presently.

Lockjaw the Croconaw Feraligatr, Zweihander the Doublade, Moore the Mudkip, and Morph the Morpeko....

These Pokemon stood with him on the line of life and death....

AGAIN?!

It wasn't the first time the ginger Rufio had lost out on a chance to capture a Starmie, the fact that it had happened for the second time would fill him with equal parts jealousy, anger, and shock.

In spite of this Rufio would kick rocks, keeping on his own diverted path in the meantime and then....

A Fossil Pokemon?!

Instinctively removing both hands from his hoodie pockets the teen would belt out a quick order to his Doublade.

Zweihander, Solar Blade!

In that instant the dual-sword Pokemon would begin to slowly, but surely glow brighter and brighter as an eerie green aura surrounded her. There was no available sunlight to feed off of, however the Doublade did retain some previously absorbed sunlight and as such she could still effectively use the technique. Zipping through the air like a pair of scissors as the same eerie green light trailed her movements, thus leaving behind a "tail", she'd come in hot as she attempted to secure the Omanyte nearby.

After effectively clashing with the partial Water-Type via her "Scissor-attack" via Solar Blade she'd pin it into place, holding it with ferocity as steel grinded against a rocky-shell. Meanwhile Rufio would sneer, tossing a Poke Ball after the wild Fossil Pokemon as he found some redemption in the latter.

Fuck a starfish, I'll take that legend!

A swarm of slime?....Well they were in the way at least...

As such Rufio figured why pass up the chance, especially when he swore his amber eyes caught onto a Shiny one...

Entering the fray with Lockjaw the Croconaw the pair would attempt to capture a slime. Only for a crumpled up poster to fly into Rufio'a face.

Upon removing it from his face and holding it out flat Rufio would find himself confused as his Pokemon battled the wild heathens nearby.

Forgetting Swords Dance to learn Solar Blade

Rufio and Zweihander the Doublade could be found on the scene among the others called to the task at hand.

Though Rufio felt Aerial Ace was a more effective counter measure, he had been heavily pushed towards using Solar Blade instead.

As such Zweihander would spend much of her time chaeging up before flinging herself about the air with an eerie green and white glow that would trail behind her as well as engulf her form momentarily.

His breathing had become labored at this point, the ginger known as Rufio left nigh reeling after the latest clash of Pokemon and Trainer versus monster-bug-Pokemon-thing.

Still clutching onto Doublade's two sword hilts Rufio would nonetheless find the breath to compliment Zweihander.

You're doing great girly....Hehh...heh...We've got this, just gotta' keep at it!!

Wiping the sweat from his brow Rufio's eyes would then wander on to the portal in the sky and the chaos brewing from the woods nearby, or at least what he could make of it.

How was Lockjaw doing?

Hopefully he's alright...

Rufio wasn't a true sentimental type, but he did hope that his Pokemon hadn't been lost in the unfolding war. Gnawing at his lower lip while thinking it over he'd be caught back when a series of attacks hit him. Had Moore the Mudkip not prepared a Protect to prevent Rufio and crew from being harmed then they'd have likely been damaged by...another Trainer's Pokemon?

Gritting his teeth and almost hissing Rufio would take a step away from the bug-beast he had been fighting, his entire focus stolen by the friendly fire that had been dished out. Yet, with an enraged Lockjaw appearing, it would seem like it's attention had been diverted, now unleashing it's Rage upon Tsubasa Yamamoto in a surprise lunging attack, trying to use it's berserker rage strength to latch onto the Trainer's hand and the "Mega Stone" they held onto, with a mighty bite.

With Lockjaw dishing out revenge in the name of it's Trainer, Rufio would find pride as well as a means to return his gaze back to the bug-beast that was now mocking them by sticking out it's tongue.

Rufio would have it's tongue.

Let's get back in there with Aerial Ace again, let's end this if we can so we can take care of that dude over there ourselves!

Launching back into the fray with a spiraling, corkscrewing flying pattern the three of them would seek out the Pheromosa once more. While Rufio and Zweihander would strike with Aerial Ace, Moore the Mudkip whom was still clinging to Rufio's shoulder would unleash it's own attack once ordered. The latter of which would come while Rufio and the Doublade clashed with Pheromosa.

Moore, drown it with Hydro Pump!

Trying to act with the element of surprise again Moore the Mudkip would then unleash a torrent of a Hydro Pump, trying to launch the attack right down Pheramosa's mouth/throat.

Huuhh?!

In mere moments Rufio's trek was interrupted, an almost silent "pop" as the light seemed to fade, or did it actually increase until he just couldn't bare it anymore and thus couldn't see?

Then everything felt like it was spinning, but as if he was standing in place.

When his vision came back to him he wanted to hurl and yet he managed to contain himself as he began to register his surroundings. Was he underground?

Why were there so many other people and....

What was the giant, seemingly sentient, rock-thing in the distance? Why was it cornering Scientist looking folk?

SPLAT!

Whatever was going on it had become clear to Rufio that it was a descent into Hell, people being murdered by a monstrous rock-like Pokemon [or whatever it was]. Rufio too would register the chaos like he usually did, gauging it with his own confidence and willingness to become stronger alongside his Pokemon. As such when things continued to devolve so would Rufio throw himself into the frey.

Summoning forth his Doublade dubbed Zweihander the ginger would sneer amidst the chaos, the confusion, he'd relish it and the adrenaline it afforded him.

In this mad world the only thing that Rufio found as a counter measure was to become stronger. If one were superior they could avoid being washed away down stream...

Zweihander, let's get in there and crush some rock!

Letting out a steely scream version of a battle cry the sword would twirl in place before Rufio latched onto the hilts of his sentient sword Pokemon. In this he'd be pulled along by her motions as she began to soar forward, ducking and zig zagging out of the way of various rocks and counter attacks that began to fly around the area.

If able Rufio and Zweihander would begin to assault the gigantic rock-monster-Pokemon with Sacred Sword thanks to the Doublade's No Guard ability that ensured hits would land.

It would be at this time that it would become clear that Rufio had left behind another Pokemon in secret, having dropped Lockjaw the Croconaw's Poke Ball earlier and telling them to wait a few moments to come out and protect them if need be. In this Lockjaw would snap into existence, forming out of blue energy before spitting out a mighty Hydro Pump to hit any rocks that might try to hit Rufio or Doublade along their way to hit the strange-beast.
