It was to be another simple and easy job.

Clean up some dirty worker-Pokemon, Rufio himself opting to pick up on the Hydro Pump endeavor due to multiple of his Pokemon knowing the move anyways. Arriving on scene with Lockjaw the Croconaw walking beside him the pair would wait until they were directed to their task.

In this Rufio would give Lockjaw a single order.

Use Hydro Pump, but dial it back just a tad...If you knock em' over a bit that's fine, but we're supposed to avoid hurting them apparently...I don't know why they'd request Hydro Pump though....

Snapping open the Croconaw's large maw would begin to gurgle before spitting forth a mass volume of water that spiraled around as it raged forward, though on a lesser degree than typical. Proceeding to clean off the Toxitricity in the area as the other Trainer/Pokemon pairs did their tasks as well.

Finding himself presently wandering the outskirts of Slateport City the ginger Rufio would eventually lose his way, ending up in the area where several of abandoned warehouses could be located. Both hands resting in their respective front pockets of his hoodie/jacket Rufio would be walking alone, having left a Poke Center before getting lost he had opted to continue to keep his Pokemon put up for once.

With the day slowly, but surely wandering from early evening into night Rufio would pause among the maze he found himself in, pondering on how he might get out of the situation he had landed himself in.

Snickering to himself in confidence the ginger would watch on as the man with darker red hair took on a wild Rhyorn next, leaving Rufio to wander off just a tad only to find a slug-like Pokemon slogging on by. Though he didn't know what it was, and while he wasn't interested in finding out, he figured by appearance alone some person would likely hop at the opportunity to trade for it or something as there was plenty of folk like that around the place.

Zweihander, Sacred Sword, crush it with the flat of your blades!

Hissing into action with swift movements the Doublade would begin to bat around the Gastrodon until finishing it off with a crushing hammer blow from the bottom of their hilt allowing Rufio to lob another Poke Ball for his wild hunting efforts.

Use Teleport, give everyone a better vantage point for their moves.

Rufio's plan was simple, have Alakazam Teleport "allies" around the "battlefield" to have the advantage in dispelling the stink from varying points, as if they were surrounding the stink to execute it once and for all.

It was a simple job, it didn't require him to come up with a more helpful plan himself or rather he didn't feel like it deserved the attention.

Zweihander the Doublade was fast and yet their opponent Scyther had used Agility, improving it's own speed. And while the sentient swords had their own ability to increase their speed Rufio saw no need to request it due to his Pokemon's innate nature of always landing hits in exchange for always being hit as well.

As such they'd only waste time in using Autotomize, because of this they'd keep with the bread and butter due to it's super effectiveness.

Finish this, Aerial Ace one more time!

Zipping forward and spiraling about in vivid rotations Doublade would this time be even more flashy, using one blade to take the hits from Scyther's X-Scissor, while the second came in without resistance, aiming to thrust it's sharp point forward and against the bug's chest if able. If their opposition managed to keep going after this Rufio would've been surprised though he'd never admit shock to his opponent nor would he admit their expertise in combat or resilience.

Huh?

Confused by the red haired guy's words Rufio would pause while squinting slightly, his gaze shifting to Zweihander his Doublade. Whatever the guy meant Rufio was indeed confident in his Pokemon, arguably being his most powerful one presently even. However before the ginger could even reply he'd find himself interrupted by a pair of Wild Pokemon appearing as well as the other guy diving straight into a capture attempt. Following suit he'd take up the larger, and in his mind, the more powerful Pokemon, being the Golem in nearby.

Zweihander, Sacred Sword! Don't stop until the living rock's down and out!

Almost hissing with speed the pair of sentient swords would zip forward while floating in the air. Though their Sacred Sword maneuver tended to be one of their less flashy attacks it nonetheless was elegant in the way that no movement was wasted, nothing fancy was done, it was purely strike after strike, each blow meant to be a battle ending hit on it's own. And with it's speed and type advantage Zweihander would manage to smack the Golem about until it fell onto it's stomach, wincing and groaning in defeat as a Poke Ball bounced off of it's rocky hide.

Geeze, that was a lot of over kill for a fish like Goldeen...Was it really worth it, like you're just wasting your time...I mean Seaking is still a useless Pokemon if you ask me.

Though it might've sounded like Rufio was defending Goldeen from violence it was actually far from the fact as he actually just saw certain Pokemon as useless and weak. One couldn't train their Pokemon if they sent them out against weak Pokemon after all, at least in Rufio's mind.
