LATE SEPTEMBER — as ultra wormholes are sighted in the seas of hoenn, the region begins to be tainted by poisons, the source of which is unknown. parts of hoenn's seas darken with toxic waste, like oil spills. for this reason, head scientist, lucas lane, has entrusted volunteers with a special antidote formula that he has helped create with elite four, thomas benoit's sludge sample.[break][break][break]

these gloom have begun to stink up the place moreso than usual. they've recently been contaminated by some overflow from the nearby sewer, and seem to be expelling dangerous fumes. blowing the fumes with the natural purifying powers of pokemon may be enough to help do away with the gas, before the pokemon are transported for care.[break][break][break]

Dear god, that stench was horrible. Ruby nearly gagged, despite the mask covering her face. Gloom was stinky pokemon in general, but this stink was worse stink. Advanced stench, perhaps. Regardless, they were here to help remove the stink so that the poor contaminated Glooms could actually get the help and care that they needed.

With that said, Ruby was quick to send out Maple. A charming, excitable little Chikorita with wide eyes that seemed to take in the world with such glee. And yet, even it was stunned by the stench. Ruby didn't even have to say a word before the cute little plant Pokemon already got to work with AROMATHERAPY. The soothing scent would hopefully heal anyone poisoned by the noxious fumes, and simply make it easier to get everyone involved nice and safe.

Ruby would simply smile at the Chikorita, only to reach down and to pick the girl up. Perhaps it was a bit selfish, but with Maple this close, she couldn't even smell the stench anymore. Perhaps she could even attempt to join a few of the health professionals later, learn a thing or two about how to help more.

"Oh my.. that is quite potent, isn't it, Heracross?"[break][break]

Avery's hand flies to her mouth to pinch her nose closed. Her eyes water and she glances over her shoulder to peer at the rest of the people that were arriving alongside her. Several Pokemon in her daycare were capable of the move SWEET SCENT, so she had been more than happy to lend a hand. Literally, her own hand.[break][break]

She had recently discovered that she, too, could exude a potent SWEET SCENT similar to a perfume. It meant she no longer needed to carry much deodorant or sprays -- she smelled good all the time. Pokemon flocked to her constantly, especially when she was hard at work. And so, because of this, Avery and Heracross put together both of their SWEET SCENTS to help nullify the horrible smell of these contaminated Glooms.[break][break]

While she did that, the more capable and better-equipped individuals (like rangers) stepped in to relocate these Pokemon and hopefully decontaminate them.[break][break]

Solaris, Katherine’s Serperior, slithered on the grassy ground slowly. The serpent matched the pace of its trainer— never once daring to step away from their side.

After all, the region was plagued with an increasing number of poisoned pokemon. Each passing day made it seem as if they’re growing more violent and less easy to handle. The situation continued to escalate, with no signs of slowing down.

“Solaris, blow the gas away.”

The grass-type ceased their slithering for a moment before drawing energy from the flora and fauna nearby, conjuring a LEAF TORNADO in the process. The harsh breeze aims to deal with the poisonous gas in order to clear the air, so the transportation of the poisoned pokemon becomes less dangerous.

Use Teleport, give everyone a better vantage point for their moves.

Rufio's plan was simple, have Alakazam Teleport "allies" around the "battlefield" to have the advantage in dispelling the stink from varying points, as if they were surrounding the stink to execute it once and for all.

And you?

It was a simple job, it didn't require him to come up with a more helpful plan himself or rather he didn't feel like it deserved the attention.

A cluster of stinky gloom causing a scene? Never worry, nearby pokemon trainers quickly clamored to the scene to dismiss the stench and save the day! Oscar was among them, wielding a mighty Venusaur that was eager to set things right. Everyone else had brought sweet smelling aromas to disperse the smell, but Oscar knew that there was only one way to solve this caper.

The Glooms needed to fuckin' LEAVE! Or die, either or. Venusaur was the perfect choice for this task, as he had a one-two punch that would not only beat up the gloom but also create a pleasing scent. Oscar threw his hand toward a nearby cluster, "Petal Blizzard! Take 'em out!"

Venusaur roared, throwing his back-plant forward as an enormous wave of petals swept away the gloom. With the gloom cut up and tossed aside, all that was left was the pungent smell of roses. "Ah, fresh as fuck. Ok next batch!" Venusaur nodded, turning his attention to the next set of gloom.
