With Zweihander guiding his movements basically with the use of Aerial Ace Rufio would slide around the sand almost like a dancer, despite this he'd manage to pick up on the arrival of a muscular blond and their Pokemon. With everyone's combined efforts the initial group of aliens would be put down, but after this and during the subsequent pause Rufio would find himself glaring at LANCE VOLLANS .

Hey...Stay out of my way.

Speaking almost nonchalantly the ginger would then continue on up the beach, his eyes sniping the large boat in the distance...perhaps it could be used. However between the boat and his party were more aliens.

Well, let's move on...wait...

Soon the sky would darken and an eerie "rain" would begin to effect the area, leaving both he and his Pokemon wincing if only momentarily before Rufio barked an order at Moore.

Moore use Protect!

Sneering as a glass chime echoed through the air while a transparent shield formed around the immediate group Rufio would proceed to give his other Pokemon their orders. This would include Lockjaw who would land on the Protected shield from the outside before stepping off, landing on the sand only to then step inside the Protect "bubble".

Lockjaw, Ice Fang!

Morph, Aura Wheel!

Zweihander, Sword Dance!

With his Mudkip staying at the center of the group they would proceed on, Croconaw chomping at the nearest alien with icy teeth that would emit a frosty mist when hitting the open air. Morph, whom would change into his Hangry mode, would begin to emit purple and black electricity before snapping forward and rolling to create a charge up wheel of energy while targeting an alien or their Pokemon, both if need be. Now, while Rufio had ordered his Doublade to use Sword Dance to build up her Attack Power, Rufio himself was still free to use the Pokemon as weapons outright.

As such the ginger would swing the blades on his own, targeting the alien invaders himself as well. After all his goal was the boats and his enemies remained between himself and what he so desired. If able they'd press on to the boat they sought after.

Meteor Falls had fallen under attack and the likes of Rufio McGillis was literally caught in the thick of it.

He didn't keep up with the news and with his recent and frequent activity in the mountainous area he had effectively cut himself off even further to bolster his training methods. In this Rufio would find himself not panicking, but full of chaos as he fell into the "defense army" ranks.

However chaotic it was Rufio nonetheless found some use of this strange and apparent war, it was the chance of a lifetime to empower his Pokemon. A real war? Life and death?

That was how a Pokemon could achieve some real power that they normally wouldn't have the chance to.

Surrounded at all points by his four Pokemon Rufio would give them each one look before sneering in excitement.

Lockjaw the Croconaw, Zweihander the Doublade, Morph the Morpeko, and Moore the Mudkip looked a bit out of place when surrounded by mostly fully evolved Pokemon and the like...Even Legendary Pokemon appeared, beyond that they weren't there of their own volition, but instead had apparently been tamed by Trainers.

Initially starting toward the back of the group they'd push on forward once things started to heat up, literally and figuratively, they'd only pause once along the way for Rufio to give a plan.

Moore, use Foresight...Tell me what you see in the area....

After a short pause where Moore the Mudkip went on to explain the situation and surroundings to Rufio, the ginger would begin to order the others around.

Lockjaw, you'll be using Hydro Pump, don't worry about helping the others, we're going off to the side, I want you to knock that tree over, we'll surprise them on the beach.

Zweihander I need you to use Aerial Ace on the nearest aliens you can once we get to them.

Morph, you'll be using Quick Attack, same as Zweihander's plan.

Lockjaw to my left, Morph to my right.

Keep up.

And with that the group would sort of take an alternate path than the others, heading off to the far left side of the battlefield as their goal was to route the enemies from the side while the others pushed ahead. If any others worked their way toward his chosen path they'd seemingly work together as long as they didn't get in Rufio's way. Wandering into the tree line the group would seemingly slip away into the shadows themselves.

Then it began, Lockjaw's HYDRO PUMP would collide with a tree in hopes to knock it over and down the cliff side onto the aliens below. Meanwhile Morph the Morpeko would find himself at the cliff side himself, casting down a THUNDER SHOCK on the aliens nearby. However the strange, yet amazing would happen as Rufio latched onto Zweihander the Doublade's hilts just before the Pokemon took off, gliding into an AERIAL ACE assault while Mudkip and Morpeko jumped onto and latched to either of his shoulders. Meanwhile Lockjaw would leap into the air in preparation for his next attack, ready to use his own instincts if need be.

Coming to wield his Pokemon as weapons themselves the ginger would enter the battle himself, cast into a beautiful dance as the Doublade swung about with it's Flying-Type maneuver while lashing out at the apparent alien invaders. Meanwhile Morph and Moore would jump from Rufio's back, taking point to his left and right while keeping up with him.

Pulling out a single miniature Poke Ball from his hoodie's front left pocket Rufio would tap it's center button to activate it's full form before tossing it moderately high into the air. Opening up with a sort of distorted breaking sound blended with the noise of built up pressure being released the Poke Ball would then cast forth a plume of blue energy that crackled about in silence as it took on an actual form. And as the light faded so would Morph the Morpeko appear along the edge of the dock they stood upon.

Smiling as he happily gorged himself on an electrically charred pumpkin seed the Morpeko would remain ignorant to the task at hand as well as the incoming horde of Pokemon out at sea, albeit his ears did twitch while subconsciously picking up on what was going on in the real world while he day dreamed.

Once they get in range we'll simply use Thunder Shock on the water's surface. It'll zap the invading Pokemon, but the electricity won't reach down to the Corsola due to the depth of the water here.

How's that for Psyduck brains?

It's almost like you made an assumption there.....Hmmm.

Haahaa!

Bellowing out in hearty laughter, that was about sixty percent over exaggerating on Rufio's part, the ginger would then turn his gaze from his new "ally" back to the incoming Mareanie that were nonetheless still a safe distance away, at least for the time being.

Pacofodlog Town, it wasn't a town he'd likely have visited before unless necessary...Or in this case if he were being paid.

Rufio was being paid to come aide the town as the Corsola reef that held up the town itself were in danger from other invasive Pokemon that threatened to eat the coral Pokemon. Having acquired a new Water-Type himself, in the form of Triton the Horsea, the youth found the ability to aide the people while making himself some cash on the side. After all he wasn't going to help anyone for free.

Pressing on toward the dock-based city Rufio would wander about until he found himself along the edge that outright faced the open sea, in the distance one could see the water bubbling, distorting.

He had seemingly arrived just in time with the enemy Pokemon out at sea, but only a couple of minutes out from the town itself.

So do they plan on having me do this alone, or?....Hehh, I'll get it done, who needs help with riff raff after all.

It was time to put some of his newer Pokemon to the test, while also challenging his already "veteran" Pokemon. His newer Pokemon being Morph and Moore, a Morpeko and Mudkip respectively while his older and more experienced Pokemon were Lockjaw and Zweihander, a Croconaw as well as a Doublade.

As such Rufio found himself presently strolling up to the Battle Hut with the expectation that he would win, likely outright without the single loss of a Pokemon. Regardless of his mindset the ginger would continue forward until he found himself in the registering area before then being guided to the waiting room before he was to be called to the arena floor.

And then it was time....

Walking up as the bright yellow lights seared his eyes Rufio would nonetheless keep his cool, both hands in his jacket's front pockets as he almost lazily stood there with a faint half-grin on his marked face.

Well, first time on a stage.

Hmm, think I'll like beating up whimps in front of a crowd.

And soon enough the pair, more so if not outright only Rufio himself, would be graced with what they were seeking a Wild Pokemon. This Pokemon being none other than the fabled "Dragon" Pokemon....Horsea!

Cracking a half grin while half rotating to his right side the ginger would belt out an order for Morph the Morpeko whom was currently switching to it's Full Form while chowing down on an electrically roasted seed.

Morph, Thunder Shock, let's go!!

"Chirping" in excitement Morph would proceed to cause a surge of electricity around itself before throwing a stream of energy toward not the Horsea, but the pool of water it was in. This water source was likely fed by a spring beneath the ground surface, but this mattered little to Rufio as he wasn't going swimming.

Zapped and knocked unconscious the Horsea would show no resistance as Rufio lobbed a Poke Ball after it in an attempt to capture it.

Meteor Falls....It was said to be one of the toughest routes one could find themselves in, a place where only the strong could survive and where powerful Pokemon lived inside. A cavernous dark system broken up only by rock and various bodies of water meant that the youth had to be wary though he would never had admitted to being "careful".

Beside him one could find his Pokemon Morph the Morpeko whom was emitting a low discharge of electricity to give off viable light in the area. However due to Morph's Hunger Switch ability the Pokemon would shift into a Dark-Type on and off, thus turning the yellow-gold light in the immediate area to a slightly dimmer, but still retaining use as a light source, shade of purple. The on and off switching didn't bug Rufio too much though if he was a lesser individual, in his mind at least, or someone who suffered from epileptic seizures he might've found himself in trouble. Having only entered Meteor Falls about five to ten minutes prior the lad would find himself more than eager to run into a Pokemon at that point though he still kept a calm enough demeanor with his hands inside his jacket pockets.

Can't be too much longer now Morph, be ready.
