the morpeko is a rat and is not as cute and is ugly, so kyle didn't even contemplate on replacing the one he caught with this one like he did with shinx. all the rat got was a momentary stare before the trainer moved on to the next.

the morpeko understands completely the value it has as a pokemon and doesn't get offended from it. even a good signature move doesn't save it from its face.

kyle stares at his wrist watch and groans. there's enough time yet, but he can't be bothered to look for better pokemon by now. he decides to just catch the first thing he sees and call it a day.

"there," he tells his mightyena when he sees a castform up ahead. "let's go get that and head home."

the mightyena charges up his hyper beam and shoots the castform from far away with it. it gets hit and falls from its position as soon as the attack makes contact.

kyle throws his pokeball at it before it falls to the ground because he's not really a fan of the five second rule unless it's convenient for him.
