it was another day in the safari park. at this point kaz was starting to make it routine to come at least every other month just to check it out and see what he could find out here. the only hint that the park manager told him about the kind of pokemon that were hiding out in here was the "color purple". what that meant was lost on the blonde as he made his way through the tall grass trying to imagine just what he meant. purple as in poison? that would be some kind of dark humor what with that whole war that went down a few weeks back.

in fact if he was more honest with himself this whole trip was meant to be a distraction form all that. no one was ever going to really recover from such an event in a fast amount of time. they could hide it like kaz, he was really good at hiding stuff like that, but deep down it still hurt. as the memories of that war came back up they were quickly swatted down as kaz slapped his face twice and shook his head and put a smile on his face as he ran through the grass. he couldn't think bad thoughts right now, the pokemon in here could sense that!

the lake was a good place to relax and unwind. a nice dip in the cool water was something that kazimir could really enjoy as the focus on staying afloat and not drowning overtook any negativity that bounced around in his head. as he rose out of the water and walked up to the shore he shook off some droplets from his hair and stopped dead in his tracks as a moan reached his ears. that was never a good sign, and not wanting to have this turn into a c-list horror film he turned around ready for anything.

of course a dead piece of living coral that was approaching him was something that felt like it was out of a c-list movie indeed. "okay little ghost...come a little closer...." with each step it took kaz took antoher to his bag till he was within reach and managed to grab a ball and throw it at the corsola as it lunged at him with hunger and anger in its eyes. just what did he do to deserve such hatred? swimming?

"whoa hold up! i have snacks! instead!" why a small little fox wanted to take his rage candy bars instead of his berries was beyond him. if he had to guess by it sly smile then it was because it just wanted to mess with him a little. he would give it props on its guts to even try and do that as it only meant kaz was going to show it no mercy once he caught up to it. and for a second it seemed like that he was as it slowed down to a halt and suddenly turned around as he lunged for it.

if only it was that simple, because the little fox then jumped, jumped right onto his head and pushed his face into the dirt as it was running in the opposite direction now. kaz was quick to scramble to his knees and take out one of the safari balls he had left. "oh its on now." he felt a surge of energy rush through him as he dashed after the fox who only noticed too late it was in reacting to seeing a large blonde human suddenly on top of it slamming a ball into its face.

as he counted his remaining pokeballs kazimir decided to take a rest in a small forest grove, because nothing scary happens in the woods right? parking himself on a stump he set his backpack against a smaller stump that gave a small shake. as he cracked open a cold lemonade he was enjoying the fresh air when he saw his backpack floating away on a stump. wait a minute. spitting out his drink he shifted around his pockets for a safari ball and chcuked it at the stump. "NOT A SECOND TIME."

the little yellow goblin was fast but kazimir was pretty fast himself. still it was small than him and managed to continually slip between his legs as the blonde gave chase. it was a little annoying if he was being honest. "hold still!" he shouted as he tried to close his legs to stop it from going through, although out of instinct he kicked the poor thing away and watched it roll into an unmoving lump. "oops...uh...hm...no witnesses around..." with that he chucked the ball at its form. it was still a catch after all.
