kyle cracks his knuckles as he goes in for the fifth time. while there's a time limit for these kinds of things, kyle wasn't that much in a rush to completely rush this once again. it doesn't stop him though.

"aight alpha, round five."

the mightyena barks enthusiastically in approval. it leads the way, taking the same trail that he and his trainer always took in the previous four trips they went into the safari zone.

kyle holds a pokeball in his hand, ready to chuck it the moment his pokemon reacts to something and mauls it.

the arctozolt appears. kyle stares at it for a moment, unsure if it's a pokemon or not at all. he's still getting used to galarian pokemon even though they've been in the region for so long. still, there's only one thing that kyle gets his mightyena to do with all the pokemon they encounter.

the mightyena lunges at the arcozolt with fire fang. it easily manages to go through its defenses, as much as it tried to defend against the attack. there's also a disparity of levels, but kyle ignores that because this is a stat based site.

kyle throws a pokeball at the arctozolt before it actually dies from the jaws of a mightyena.

a wooper waddles along, stopping at the sight of an arctozolt getting captured by kyle and his mightyena.

shock is evident in the wooper's expression as it watches in horror. it knows it can't stand a chance against the mightyena and quickly turns tail before it can even get close.

kyle watches the wooper run away and shrugs. there's more targets around anyways.

he sees a bergmite on the corner of his eye, distracted by something. whatever it's distracted by, kyle assumes that it would be that pokemon's demise as it won't be able to run away as fast as the wooper did.

the mightyena is quick to jump into action. it quickly lunges for the bergmite, jumping on top of it on all fours. it manages to quickly put up a protect when it senses the mightyena, but the barrier can only last for so long.

as soon as it ends, the dark-type immediately goes in with a fire fang. the flames weaken the bergmite fast, and kyle has to rescue it with a well-thrown pokeball, or else it'll probably give up on life.

he tosses one at it for a capture.

kyle redeems the pokeball that captured the bergmite as soon as the blinking stops and goes to look for their next target.

his mightyena turns his head to another direction, managing to locate a trapinch half buried on the cold earth. kyle tries to see which pokemon his mightyena spots, but shrugs when he can't find it.

there's more pokemon on the safari zone anyways to bother wasting time to look for one that's too difficult to find with one glance.

kyle sees another darumaka. it's only his second one, but he's already tired of seeing it because it looks stupid and dumb. at least it has a broken ability, but that's metagaming. shiv please don't read this.

the mightyena lunges at the darumaka, opening his jaws so the pokemon fits in his maw. fire fangs burn the pokemon inside as it screams in agony, waiting for the fateful end of its life finally come.

kyle throws a pokeball at it before it actually dies.
