he ought to stop playing with his dogs in the caves, but it's nearby home and it's accessible and they apparently like it here. there is only dread when kyle realizes that play time comes close.

he sits down on a large rock as he watches the mightyena play with each other. there were yowls and snarls and barks, but he knows it's all friendly fun, or so he hopes they were.

kyle eventually blanks out while he watches them play, and once he gets to his senses, he sees the pack engage with a wild pokemon with them.

all six started to frolic around the rhyhorn, booping it with a paw once or twice before tagging out for a different mightyena. kyle feels bad watching it since the rhyhorn's too slow to catch up with all the teasing from the dark-type.

he finally stands up and gets near the rhyhorn, the pokemon finally managing to see one individual without them moving out of its peripheral the next second. kyle shakes his head to show his disappointment for his mightyena before speaking at the wild pokemon.

"just know that i'm saving you," he tells the rhyhorn as he drops a pokeball at its head.
