Okay, so, Yijun's bag had been spilled in the bushes. Why? Don't worry about it. It was stupid and she didn't want to think about the last thirty minutes of her life. What mattered was she had been crawling around on her hands and knees looking for her ID. Ended up quite a bit away from where she started and had leaves in her hair. That's all of this plot-line she cared about right now.

"Aha!" A quiet puff of victory as she finally grabbed it, sitting up on her knees. A wide smile stretched her face only to be wiped away when a rock smacked into her head. "Ow!" Like a bull she surged to her feet and charged out of the treeline, ready to face off with whatever had dared to attack her. Looked like some dude and a weird panda pokemon. Covered in dirt and leaves and face red in indignation, the woman probably looked fucking bonkers. She flicked her eyes up and down the other but after a moment relaxed a little.

"Did you throw something at me?" Which, probably, but to be fair she didn't really have any solid proof. So. Before she could rally say anything more, the bushes rustled and out stepped a Medicham. The pokemon had a backpack in her hands and seemed to be rustling around inside. She paused when she spotted the new human and pokemon, lifting her hand to wave to them before offering the backpack to Yijun.

"Uh-huh." She narrowed her eyes, showing that she maybe didn't quite believe him. The bump on her head would be the physical proof of his lies in due time. The medicham, at least, seemed more content to watch what happened with the whismur and the panda pokemon. The fighting type even clapped her hands together and smiled, cutting off the nuzleaf that has run the small pink pokemon out of hiding. A solid force palm to the face knocked it flat.

"Well, what are you doing in the woods?" Yeah, this would probably go next to nowhere. Jerking her thumb to the side, where the medicham had dragged over the unconscious grass type, she snorted. "Same shit you're doing. I'm fine. I got a 'mon with Teleport." Her hand vanished into her pocket long enough to pull out a pokeball. She tossed it at the nuzleaf absently.

And now Yijun really looked this guy over. Close. He had a familiar face.... she felt like she had seen him before somewhere. Nothing was really ringing a bell, though, so she let it drop for now. Probably some guy she got blackout drunk with and screwed. Ah, ignorance. Not even recognizing an Elite Four member in the flesh. Shame on her.

"You got a name? I'm Yijun."

Catching nuzleaf

"Yeah." A pause, followed by a scowl. "Well, I was. I fell down a hill and spilled my shit everywhere." She glanced back down at her bag like it had personally offended her for that.

Medicham had decided to follow after Urshifu this time. She watched as the other pokemon took down the one in the tree, clapping and giving a giant smile. When the panda walked away, she leaned down and reached under the unconscious gorilla, struggling only for a moment before pulling out a squished and dazed Azurill. This was brought back to her own trainer, who only glanced her way before another ball was flung.

"I think I have everything, or..." the medicham got her attention, pantomining jingling something, which made Yijun huff. "Ugh, no, I'm still missing my keys. There's more pokemon back the way I came. Wanna help me look for them?"

Catching azurill

"Oh, hell yeah." Yijun's eyes lit up when she saw the Mightyena, not hesitating in stepping closer and squatting down to be on the canine's level. "Can I pet him?" Even as she asked, she was already reaching her hand out to try and run through his fur. A pretty good way to get bitten, all things considered. "You can't catch these guys where I'm from and they're sooooo cute."

"Eh, his sniffer is better than either of ours even if he is rusty." And she shrugged it off. "They have a puffball key-chain on 'em, so maybe that absorbed my stank better than just metal."

Meanwhile, a Jigglypuff had stumbled upon the little clearing. It had witnessed the violence. It had seen what had been happening to those other pokemon. So when it got the chance, it turned around and ran as fast as it's stumpy little legs could carry it. Not today, Satan.

Yijun was delighted with permission to pet. She digs both of her hands into his fur, ruffling it up lightly before stroking his ears. She even giggles at his nuzzling as he sniffs since it kind of tickles. "Do you really do that? Get all stinky about other people cuddling Mister Kyle?" She addressed the Mightyena before standing up straight.

While this was happening, Mona had found a Morpeko that was attempting to flee much like the Jigglypuff had earlier. Instead, it got a swift Force Palm to the skull and was carried over to Yijun. The woman nodded in approval before tossing a pokeball as well.

"Can you catch these guys in Hoenn? Or Poochyena. I've always wanted one." She grinned down at the dark type one again before turning back to Kyle. "One of my squad-mates had one and she was super spoiled. I was still soooo jealous."
