They fly down the side of the cliff. Literally.

After skidding and catching air as his bike jumps over rocks, launching them until gravel was no longer beneath the wheels, there’s a sudden shadow looming overhead. Angelo dares peer over his shoulder to see a green dragon descend, plunging towards him with outstretched claws as it clutches at the back of his shirt, acting as a glider as the Flygon leads them towards the base of the canyon. Angelo grips onto his bike tightly and lets out a victory cheer as they leave the screeching swarm in their dust.

“You alright? That was some good thinking!” He says when they’re safely on the ground, Angelo’s skin electric from the rush of adrenaline and his heart still pounding, as he reaches out to give the Flygon a pat. There’s a grin stretching over his face; a little wicked and a little hungry. “I don’t think we’re going to be welcome in that cavern again in a hurry, though.” Hopefully that doesn’t hinder Doug in his tour work.

Thankfully, he had some compensation to offer in return for the Bug Catcher’s quick thinking and destruction of his suit. Angelo digs into his pockets and pulls out a couple of evolution stones, two big enough to work for their mystical purposes and a few that were probably purely worth as jewellery or to make a few coins, much smaller in chunks of crystalised energy. He holds out his hands for Doug. “As a token of our adventure and an apology for the state of your suit, you can get the first pick.”

"Thanks, no worries, ain't ever setting foot in there again." He said all in one breath, relief flooding his entire being as he all but slumped off the bike, dropping onto his butt with loud sigh.

Meanwhile, Guirus leaned playfully into Angelo's hand, rubbing his head against it with a hum that seemed to resonate and linger in the air like a buzz.

"Oh'ey, he likes ya, good job." Doug said through pants, now laying on the floor, completely beyond caring for his suit. It was ruined already, what did it matter if it got ruined further.

What a mess.

The youth's head rolled to look at Angelo's as he crouched in front of him with stones in hand.

"Oh. Thanks man." He said, before snorting. "Don't worry about the suit. I'm... 50% sure they can help me with it... hopefully."

He chuckled, before turning his attention to the stones. His eyes moved towards one with what appeared to be lightning caught within it, and grabbed it firmly.

"Well, would ya look at that?" He said with a purr, slowly reaching up to remove his hat. His little grubbin popped out, walking over his forehead and nose curiously as Doug held the thunder stone close to it. "Look, Kyo! Just gotta get ya through yer bus phase and ye'll gon'be a big boy before ya know it!"

He looked back at Angelo, grinning.

"Guess I should be glad ya picked these up. Thanks again, pal."
