There’s chilling silence as the audience watches from afar – their eyes locked onto a single figure standing within the ring itself. Whispers begin to spread as they all begin to wonder just what kind of spectacle they’re going to watch.

A man, fighting a pokemon? Is that even a thing? While it’s understandable that some martial artists might spar against their own fighting-type pokemon, they typically never involve proper pokemon combat; after all, moves are dangerous and even potentially dangerous. Yet a mad-man stands within the ring dressed in a similar suit as Pokkenger.

Even the judge himself is left flabbergasted, but the money and ratings they might get for putting on such a circus show seems too good to pass up. Plus, he signed a contract exempting them from any legal issues should he get injured.

”Bzzt. Boss, are you sure about this? The suit hasn’t even been properly field tested.” a voice rings in from within the helmet. Hendrix grins beneath the mask. ”Why do you think we’re doing this?” he retorts, eager to field test the suit through a ‘proper’ pokemon battle. Besides, he technically wasn’t breaking any rules considering he was fighting with a Rotom powering his suit.

as kaz walks down the other side of the ring with his urshifu wearing his newly bought gi the pair came to a stop when they saw who their opponent was. when there was mention about a guy himself wanting to fight against a pokemon kazimir had the image of some jacked up gym rat who really needed to compensate for something. he wasn't expecting pokken rider to be their opponent. how the heck were they going to go through with this? he couldnt' go around beating his junior with his own pokemon!

"well well well, looks the newest hero has some guts to try and take on a champ. right domon?" as he turned towards his own pokemon he wore a pleading face that the urshifu understood. try not to kill him. kazimir knew that his kung fu panda was a pretty tough pokemon, really tough, tough enough to break a man in half actually. "so lets see how ya handle yourself, right everybody!?" he screamed as his urshifu undressed and slid into the ring and took a stance against the masked hero as the crowd went on signaling the start of the fight with their cheers.

on the side of the ring was kaz giving hendrix a nervous thumbs up.

His eyes momentarily widen at the sight of the large bear-like pokemon. When he stepped into the ring, Pokken Rider imagined facing off against a Machoke or even a Pangoro – not some ripped pokemon that seemed to know its way around a ring.

”Bzzt, uh boss, was this what you were expecting to fight off against?” the Rotom questions, somewhat doubting whether or not his trainer is sane.

He scratches the side of his helmet as suddenly the bell rings causing the crowd to go wild. Taking a proper fighting stance, he stares down at the large pokemon, gritting his teeth slightly. ”Double Team!” he suddenly calls out as he charges at the Urshifu. As he does, the suit momentarily glows a bright yellow before there’s suddenly four Pokken Riders charging.

"clever. but we're a little more clever. domon! hit 'em with an aura sphere!" kaz called out from the side of the ring towards his large bear partner. the pokemon nodded and held its hands together and began growing a small blue orb of energy within its grasp. as the masked hero suddenly duplicated himself the urshifu waited a few seconds for him to get closer before unleashing the aura sphere, one that homed in on all of the clones to run them through with its incredible accuracy.

Pokken Rider grimaces beneath his mask as he watches the blue orb grow in size, demolishing his clones with great precision. He manages to duck away, avoiding the sphere as while Shine would be impervious to the damage done by the Aura Sphere, he himself would still be vulnerable.

Gritting his teeth, he charges through as a glow begins to shine from within his gauntlet. Stepping within punching distance, he suddenly strikes his fist upwards, uppercutting the Urshifu with FACADE as the Rotom significantly powers up his punch.

The crowd goes wild with their cheers as the ring judge just watches, his mouth agape at the sight of it all. “Somehow Pokken Rider’s managed to clone himself, but our Champion’s Urshifu manages to blow all but one away with a mighty Aura Sphere! But our masqueraded hero isn’t down for the count, he manages to close the distance between man and pokemon and throws out a devastating uppercut!”

the urshifu watched as his attack had no effect on the main body, but it did managed to drive off the clones leaving the real one right in front of him and coming at him with an uppercut. luckily it was easy to detect and the large bear managed to just sidestep it before short hopping away towards the ropes and putting up his fists. on the side was kazimir looking smug as it all went down, "don't think you'll get in hits that easily too. my guy's a pro y'know, gonna need some fancier tricks to try and take him down."

The Pokken Rider grimaces as the reigning Urshifu manages to nimbly dodge away his punch at the last minute. He lets out an exasperated sigh as he flicks his wrist, having struck nothing but air.

He glances briefly at the jeering crowd who clearly seem more interested in the Urshifu than him; though fame and attention is far from his actual goal. ”I admit, things are looking a bit rough.” he says with a somewhat solemn and cautious tone. His hand reaches down against the protruding belt buckle, pulling out a thin yellow electronic key.

The masked hero quickly swaps it with a blue one. For a near instantaneous moment, the vizors on his helmet flicker before glowing a bright red. Winding his arms back, electricity begins to flicker from his gauntleted palm as he suddenly throws his hand out as if throwing a baseball. Lightning flares from his gauntlets as he unleashes a massive DISCHARGE of electricity at the Urshifu.

"well. didn't see that coming." seeing the man suddenly fiddle with his belt and unleash a discharge of lightning sure was something unexpected. even domon didn't see it coming as the burst of electricity washed over his body and wrecked his nerves making him stumble back as his muscles underwent constant spasm. "You got this domon, hit him with an iron head and knock some sense into his skull." the urshifu let out an agreeing growl as he tried to steady his form and let out an even louder growl as he charged forward, headfirst to slap his forehead against Pokken Rider's. Headbutts were never a good idea but they sure as hell hurt like a truck, so it was do or die time for both trainer and pokemon.

Seeing his electric discharge having some visible effect against the Urshifu, the Pokken Rider’s body eases up a bit; however, momentarily letting down his guard is a near fatal mistake as the large bear quickly inbounds at him headfirst. ”Oh, shit!” he exclaims as his vizors light up red before dimming as the Pokken Rider seemingly splits in two with the one in front also retaliating headfirst at the Urshifu while the one behind retreats.

Both heads collide against each other; however, the Urshifu proves to be the mightier as the SUBSTITUTE quickly fades as it recoils back. The masked hero lets out a sigh of relief as he takes another fighting stance. ”You’ve definitely knocked some sense into one of me, even if it’s not the right skull.” he retorts, grinning as he feels some sweat beading down the side of his head.

"then i guess we just gotta try and hit the right one, won't we? c'mon domon let's finish this guy up, finishing move!" the urshifu flexed its muscles as it curled up one of its hands into a tight fist and took a stance like it was going to punch the air. it suddenly rushed forward towards the masked rider and aimed its wicked blow at his torso as it stepped forward with a f in its eyes as it looked to end this fight.
