He quietly sits on Kano’s back as the Milotic floats leisurely, his attention drawn away from the massive snake-like pokemon and down at the water. In his hand is a rather plain-looking stick with a long string tied to its end – an archaic way of fishing that still manages to prove useful.

He brows are creased as he simply wonders what he might find in the depths below.

The weather is fine overhead with fluffy clouds brushing against the Sun's warming rays of light. There is a slight chill in the air, but Caroline fends away the coolness with a light jumper laid haphazardly beneath her shoulders. The rented boat she'd found for a discounted price rocked above the waves formed by the regal Milotic serving as a ride Pokémon to the black-haired stranger.

Fishing was not a common past time for the busy Ranger, as shown by her lack of form and skill in thrusting the tangle into the water, but it was a relaxing one. Especially in a weather that made the whole world seem peaceful and calm.

Caroline grasped her fishing rod in one hand, the long stick trembling at its tip with every move. With a confident throw, one far betraying her actual skills, she let the line soar through the air and dip into the water. Within a moment, it had settled and Caroline fell back upon the wooden seats of her small boat with a friendly wave to the rider of the Milotic.
