Control is an illusion to ease the pain that is life.

Elinor and her companion walked ever onwards. The rain gently pattered down upon the two of them and their surroundings. While she was looking out for any Pokémon that might appear, she was growing increasingly positive that she wouldn’t be finding anything for now. That was until Aron began to make some noise.

The Aron had noticed movements in the trees. Whatever it was Aron wanted to fight it. It’s excited cooing noises alerted Elinor to the presence of the bird Pokémon in the trees. She looked up and saw the red, yellow and black hued bird sitting within the tree.
“Huh…” She mumbled. She as she reached into the fanny-pack for a quick grab of her PokéDex. PokéDex in hand she turned its camera towards the bird Pokémon and allowed it to grab the data from the net. She quickly read the information, all of it sounded pretty neat. She did need a Fire and a Flying type Pokémon for her team, and this one was both, so win win.

So, how should I do this? She pondered. This would her be her first actual capture, since she had bought the other Pokémon from renowned breeders. She placed the PokéDex back in the fanny pack and retrieved one of the five Pokéballs that she had bought. She took a few steps towards the tree that the Pokémon sat in, which in itself made it a bit difficult for her own Pokémon to actually reach it and therefore fight it.

She figured that she ought to appeal to the fact that it was probably cold and freezing in the rain. “So, I am going to try to capture you with this ball, I hope you don’t mind that, it will bring you away from this rain.” She proclaimed, making her intentions known to the Pokémon. “Please do make it easy for both of us or my partner here will have to fight you.” Elinor explained.

The Aron looked both confused and not enthused about the prospect that his trainer decided to not let him fight from the very beginning. He was wet and freezing, so he had actually looked forward to the battle for some warmth.

Elinor eyed the goal, she then took a nice proper grip in the ball after using its size increase feature. With a real proper swing of her arm she sent the red and white sphere flying through the rainy-weather hoping to land it upon the bird and capturing it.
