another day, another dollar. the safari zone was colder than the last time she had visited. the ice-types were likely settling in, changing the environment to more suit their needs.

mcflurry pushed forward with her steelix for a second time, keeping an eye out for some rare pokemon.

the first contender wasn't really anything special, unfortunately. mcflurry just looked down at the bergmite and sighed.

soon enough, a protect would be damn-near shattered, before the ensuing iron tail completely decimated the tiny ice-type. mcflurry caught her prey, eager to look for more.

mcflurry hummed, considering her newest pokemon. well, it was a cute thing, at least. maybe it evolved into something strong. it'd definitely feel at home with her other pokemon.

that being said, she actually passed by her next contender entirely, the wooper trying and failing to catch up to the steelix.

mcflurry passed by the next one, too. the snom was simply too small for the owman on the steelix to even register. plus, with the icy weather picking up, the snom's natural coloring made it blend in with the rest of the environment.

that being said, the hunt was still on.

suddenly, a wild arctozolt appeared, and mcflurry had to react quickly. this was the first big problem she'd encountered thus far, and the woman couldn't help but flinch when its body slammed into her steelix.

still, she had the advantage, no matter what. batting it away with an iron tail, mcflurry grunted as the brunt force of an avalanche rang against steelix's body — before a stone edge finally finished it off.

...hoo. that one was a change of pace.
