One match down and a few small cups of mulled wine later, Angelo’s feet crunch through the pieces of snow alongside his second date of the evening. His stomach is pleasantly warm, both from the alcohol and the buzz of the festivities, even if he has to try to not focus on how his wallet was beginning to slowly grow thinner and thinner. When he had met up with his matching number four, they had agreed on getting a bite to eat.

“So, what are you hungry for? Something sweet? Something filling?” He asks Syviis as they walk side by side, his hands in his pockets as the chill of the imported snow bites his unaccustomed fingers, giving her a small smile. They’re walking down the rows of food stands, pleasant aromas drifting from every stall as they’re lit beneath a walkway of fairy lights, glittering canopy of artificial stars blocking out the real ones. “Your choice. I’m happy with anything.” It’s all going to cost a bomb, either way. Besides, he's adventurous enough to try anything.

Still, Angelo figures it’s probably best to get his fill now while he has the chance, so that when the evening inevitably leads to drinking, he doesn’t end up passing out from an empty stomach in a snowbank later.
