After staring at the ice for a bit, the tour guide began to shuffle them along again. It was getting to be quieter, more muffled in an eerie way the farther they went from the surface. Chu-e was mostly thankful the ground seemed solid, most likely more taken care of and cleared since this was the 'casual' path; he wasn't really ready to fall down and have a metric fuck ton of horse be what finally took him out. As he pondered this, another pokemon passed by. A Trapinch, which was trying to carry a large hunk of ice bigger than it's head. Chu-e stopped to let it pass before he caught back up with the group.

"Oh, Bergmite!" The tour guide said, having them all pause to stop. A ways away, an Auggluv with multiple Bergmite on it's back seemed to be passing from one one cavern to the next, separate from the path they were traveling down now. The Bergmite were resting on the back, most of them curled up and napping but a few of them were peering over the edge of their transport. "As you can see, they tend to stay in small herds, usually with one or two Auggluv acting as protectors to the smaller Bergmite."

Chu-e hummed as he considered them. They were cute.

Passing

One of the Bergmite on the edge ended up slipping off the Auggluv, whining and wiggling when it did. A smaller blue pokemon ran out, nosing the Bergmite and pushing it to help it get up. When the ice type had flipped over, as it had been stuck like a turtle, it squealed in delight and bounced a little as if dancing. The Wooper, grinning huge, also joined the Bergmite in it's dance. Then the Auggluv gave a call from deeper in the cave, making the Bergmite and also the Wooper run after it quickly.

It was a very cute scene of nature. Chu-e was often amazed at how kind some pokemon could be to each other.

Along the path, another Arctozolt showed up. While Chu-e was pretty sure it wasn't the same one as before, it may have been the same one as before. He hadn't studied it that closely. He was still content not to catch one, even if he liked the colors, not sure he would be able to take care of such a pokemon. Besides, he already had that sickly looking one he had picked up. if he decided to keep it, then who knows if he would even have time for two. So, he simply trotted along with the rest of the group.

Another darumaka rolled into the path. Actually, a whole group of them, right through the horses and under their feet. They seemed to be migrating from one side of the cave to the other. Chu-e had to still and them calm Bramble to keep her from stepping on one of the smaller pokemon by accident. After a few tense seconds, where everyone was quiet as they didn't know what the pokemon would do, they all finally ducked into another side cave and a breath of relief was let out. The guide moved them all along the path again.

There was another cluster of snom on the cavern walls up ahead. This group seemed to have a few Frosmoth fluttering around, just out of reach, tending to the small ice worms. They stopped for a moment to observe them before moving onwards. Chu-e was content with the snom he had already captured, it was adorable, and these most likely were more closely guarded thanks to the Frosmoth. It might have been risky just to try and hold them like they had before. Well, that was okay with him. Since they didn't seem to be stopping this time, he wondered what he would see next.

As they passed by the Snom and Frosmoth, the little Bergmite and Wooper from earlier made another appearance. There was a small, half frozen lake they needed to walk around the edge of. It seemed to glow from within, beautiful, but nearby the Wooper was in the water. It was occasionally spraying a little bit of water at the Bergmite, who would throw back a little flurry of snow. The two pokemon seemed to be having a blast. It was cute to see and Chu-e took out his phone so he could snap a photo.
