The loud, mechanical noise woke the Appletun up from its nap, just in time to see a Cubchoo get sent flying by an attack. It looked over at the source, spotting the mechanical monstrosity that had fired the shot.

And Hideo beside it, Uxie floating by his side.

"Well, you still got a lot of power in you," the boy said, "so I guess that was a good shot?"

The machine responded by hugging the boy closely to its body, even as the boy seemed uncomfortable with the gesture - the pixie floating beside him giggling at the display. "...ok, ok, it was a great shot," the boy said, patting the machine on the head. "But you can't hug me every time you knock a Pokemon out. Now come one, I gotta go catch it."

The Appletun sighed. His trainer sure was amassing a weird menagerie of Pokemon.
