But for some reason, the golduck seems to be fond of the buneary in the wild. The bunny just passes by them and Chester lets it pass without threat.

“So you like bunnies?” Valerio asks his pokemon but it doesn't reply and hides its blush with the black crystals jutting out of its face.

Their strides into the deep safari reserves has earned them the presence of another duskull, perhaps different from the one that they have encountered before. Chester attempts to use his powers but it seems the ghost knows what will happen and immediately disappears.

When Valerio spots the drampa and he witnesses his golduck's eyes flare up, he jumps in-front of the dragon to prevent his pokemon from using PSYBEAM again.

“No, Chester. Not this drampa!” He screams at the top of his lungs, hand held in the air as the other picks on his satchel a spare safari ball to save the dragon from its doom. “Genesis wants a playmate!”

When his efforts to vanquish the dragon are thwarted, Chester chooses to channel his anger on a nearby tree instead. The corrupted golduck lunges at its trunk and a chimchar that rests on its branches decides to flee the area before he's caught in the budding chaos.
