The floor of the cavern was wet, and the walls slightly damp, as Mila and her party made her way through the unfamiliar territory. She had never come to visit before, but she'd responded to an ad for an elderly woman in Mauville that she wanted to get a pretty seashell for her niece. Now, Mila was never one to half-ass things - well things that she cared about, anyways - and she thought she would take the extra mile (quite literally) for this nice woman. (That, and of course, the added benefit of padding her wallet with extra cash was already a great incentive.)

[break][break] "It's not that bad, " she said, lollipop in her mouth, trotting through the cavern. Her jacket flared behind her as another gust of wind roared through the cave, but her patterned scarf was nice enough to keep her warm. Well, somewhat warm. She was a Hoenn native; Mila wasn't that used to the cold temperatures, even if it wasn't cold the way it would've been in other regions, like Galar or even Johto. She looked at the Alolan Ninetales that accompanied her, his light blue fur gleaming in the sunlight that streamed down from the cave's skylight. There were cracks in the rocks where the otuside world could peek through, but Mila figured, the deeper that they got into the cavern, the less that would be true. 

[break][break] In fact, it was getting darker and darker...

[break][break] There was a rustle of sound, and Mila let out an involuntary squeak. "Who's there?" She wasn't afraid of the dark. She wasn't. 

[break][break] Even so, Vincenzo sent her a knowing look and she glared back at him in response.

[break][break] So what, maybe she was a little scared.
