HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. Of course, it also has the added benefit of more mature content being allowed. Still! Nothing is confirmed. If you have any thoughts or opinions, please let me know!

hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

loreq has assisted us with many quality of life changes on site involving coding fixes, plugins and more.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

there has been heavy traffic by the desert ever since that one hnn article mentioned how the ruins were interesting... or something like that. kyle never read the entire article, so his idea of the entire situation might be skewed.

he decides to check in on the fun, lingering on its outskirts to see which direction should he take. once he's in, there was no saying where was north or south without the use of a map. he can't say he's bad with directions, but the lack of features in the desert made it difficult to designate landmarks.

kyle paces uncomfortably with his pokemon as he second guesses venturing forth in case he gets lost.

a tepig walks up and stares at him. kyle stops from moving and locks eyes with the pokemon. at the very least, it doesn't seem as hostile as most wild pokemon are.

"what are you looking at," he says to the tepig. "please don't stare at me."

the standoff lasts for a few more seconds, neither moving an inch, until kyle budges first. he takes a step forward to test if the tepig takes the hint, and when it doesn't, he shoos it away with a few motions of his hand.

"go away. you're wasting your time here."

as the pokemon moves away from kyle, the elite four manages to notice that his mightyena has been missing for a while. confused, he starts to look around, only to find it playing with another wild pokemon.

"oi!" he calls his mightyena. "don't touch that!"

the koffing floats around the mightyena, who paws the air playfully. kyle can feel his heart skip a beat when it touches the poison-type, fully expecting it to explode. there's more surprise than relief in his reaction when it doesn't.

"fine, go pin it down." the mightyena immediately lunges in the air and tackles the koffing to the ground, covering its body with his. "i'll take care of it."

kyle captures the koffing with a toss of his pokeball.
