“But of course,” she winked in Billi’s direction. Turning to face Hiro, she recognized the signs of breaking out in tears—and quickly fished out a handkerchief from her pocket.

“Here, here, we don’t want to ruin your make-up now, do we,” she said gently, giving Hiro a reassuring pat on the back. “Dry those eyes, now. I’m not even started. That’s just the base of it all,” she added, opening the make-up palette that featured a fiery range of reds, oranges, and yellows. There were even whites and subtle blacks for the complete regal look.

Once she was sure Hiro was done with his self-ministrations, she got back to work. Picturing the look in her mind’s eye was easy, getting it painted down would be the challenge.

“Now, Hiro, can you do me a favor and keep still?” she requested. “This is so we can get the facial transformation so you can see the end result sooner.”

Hiro was such a pure boy, and he really just wanted to have fun, and this transformation was something that...touch him deeply. His scar was gone, his happiness was overflowing! It didn’t feel like he was hiding, more like Alexei was refining his features, which was pretty much what drag way. Luckily Hiro was young, making hiding the masculine features easy. “Okay,” the boy nodded and sat perfectly still, resisting smiling.

“There we go, no more crying now,” she soothed, slowly but surely applying the base layer of make-up on the young boy’s face. With the way he was smiling, it wasn’t hard for her to break out in a grin as well as she bustled around him with the make-up palette.

First the left side, and then the right. Slowly, surely, the look he was aspiring for was emerging—emerging from the fiery cocoon ready to be unleashed onto the world.

Taking a step back, he looked over at Billi.

“What do think about the eyes so far?” she mused. There was still a lot of ground to cover!

She chuckled at his latest pronouncement. Well, he did have a point.

“About the outfit… well, why don’t we let Hiro pick?” she suggested, giving him a wink. “I mean, it’s his first time—I’d want him to be as comfortable as possible. This also goes without saying—if you can’t handle heels, I highly suggest going with flats first. Heels take a good while getting used to walking in them.”

To prove her point, once she was done with the opposite side of Hiro’s face, she twirled around the both of them, before going back to the make-up case and getting the mirror.

“Tell me what you think,” she said as she faced the mirror once more in Hiro’s direction, precious young man he was.

Alexei was good, great even at makeup! Hell Billi’s drag makeup was almost identical except he had to cover more buch man. Then again he found himself editing tiny pieces, to the point it became his own. Most often he gave himself the effortlessly lazy, sleepy eye glossy look, with a hint of, well a dash, well maybe a SPRINKLE of sexy. Though this wasn’t his makeover soo![break][break]

Hiro smiled, looking at the makeup, “Oooh it’s really pretty!” he grinned before the mentioning of heels, but waved Alexei off, “I wear the traditional shoes, so these are easy!” he grinned and stood up, “Oh...uuhh you pick” he told alexei looking at the shoes.

“You’re going to trip over in the heels, since those go with most costumes—I highly advise walking with flats first and slowly working your way towards heels. Don’t start too high—I did that and I took a nasty tumble on my first night out. Ended up with a twisted ankle and that hurt,” she advised.

Sashaying over to where the rest of the wardrobe was located, she began looking over the available options, before returning with a couple of flat-heeled options. “Comfort first, then function. Fashion will follow afterward.”

After leaving Hiro to pick out the footwear, she bustled over to where Billi kept his extras and eventually returned with two choice outfits—both done in fiery shades of red, orange and yellow.

“Let’s get you dressed up and I’ll teach you how to sashay down the runway.”

Oh, Arceus, she loved being involved just like this—exactly like the first time that she’d helped Billi undergo his own awakening.
