HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

the mishap with the koffing is supposed to be prevented at all costs. kyle resumes to standing around the entrance of the desert, looking out for any trainer that may want to venture in to the ruins and possibly add up to the case of missing persons.

normally, kyle wouldn't have minded people ending up like that, but work is usually trickled down from the most competent people to the ones with a lot of free time. on rare occasions, he finds himself with the job of locating them.

he's supposed to stop people from coming in, but he decides that it's more work that he realized it would have been.

he looks down at the mightyena that sat in front of him. their eyes meet, and for a while, the two remain still until one of them budges. eventually, kyle gives in and talks to his pokemon.

"what now?"

the mightyena gets up and starts to get playful. tail wagging, the mightyena tries to incite kyle to play with him, hopping from side to side. it bumps into a torchic, who then runs away, but pays no attention to the small wild pokemon it disturbed.

amid the playing that his mightyena does on its own to encourage its trainer to join in, kyle spots a rock by the corner of his eye. it moves slightly, spooking kyle, before he finally gets the realization of what it really was.

"rock smash that rock," he instructs the mightyena.

the pokemon jumps and turns around mid air, facing the opposite direction when it gets back on land. it immediately spots the rock that his trainer mentioned as it stuck out like a sore thumb. it's larger than normal, round, and it moves-- the perfect target for the rock smashing mightyena.

it leaps at the geodude and tries to demolish it, only for the rock-type to get launched in the air from the resulting impact. kyle catches it with a deft throw of a pokeball.
