The Roselia graceful spun to the right, narrowly dodging a frustrated attempt at an Ice Fang by the Carvanha. The predator fish growled, a cold mist floating from his clenched jaws as he tried yet another Ice Fang on the grass-type. His frustration lead to sloppiness and the Roselia was able to land a significant blow to the pokemon’s side. Although she held back, the Magical Leaf sliced across his scales, leaving small burning wounds in his side.
Tank growled in pain, a fury flaring up in his eyes. The frustration and irrational behavior was a character flaw of the species, “Ok, that’s enough,” the trainer moved her hand across the front of her, signaling the Roselia to cease. The grass-type obeyed, hoping back over to Lex’s side. The Carvanha, however, was still not use to having a trainer and frustratingly lunged towards both Lex and Thorn with a Crunch.
Lex is lucky she’s fast, or else she probably would have the sharp teeth of a Carvanha tear through her leg right now, “I SAID ENOUGH,” she spoke firmly, standing her ground against the restless Carvanha. Thorn shook the sand off her flowered hands, glaring angrily at the wild beast.
From the corner of the path, not too far away, a little Pansear watched curiously. Lex didn’t know how long he had been watching but the young pokemon seemed intrigued by the battling. It liked the perfect diversion away from them for Tank, “Tank,” she said authoritatively, demanding the fish’s attention before giving an order, “Liquidation, go!” he finger pointed towards the fire-type.
The Pansear jumped into the path, seemingly eager to fight the water-type. Despite the clear disadvantage, the pokemon charged forward with a raised, fiery fist as Tank charged forward, summoning a powerful jet of water. The two collided in a violent mixture of fire and water. The water won, and doused the fire the Pansear had summoned. The wild pokemon fell back into the now muddy sand, his breathing labored by the weight of the fish that now sat on top of him. Tank’s eyes gleamed, dark swirls curling at the edges of his mouth as he Crunched down on the small primate, scooping it and delivering it proudly to Lex, “Very well done, Tank,” the trainer praised, sure to highly encourage him with positive reinforcement. Lex withdrew an empty pokeball from the side of her pack and dropped it on the Pansear, attempting to catch the fire-type.
Lex battles and attempts to catch the Pansear!
