Only after Noelani had disappeared beneath the waves did Captain Dross question whether or not sending a complete stranger, whose abilities were unknown to her, down into the depths of the ocean had been a wise decision. It was a risky endeavour, but the young man had seemed at ease in the water at least. Skyler would've gone herself, but she was loathe to abandon her ship - even if only for a brief period of time - while there was another option available.

Ah, well. She'd get him a bottle of tequila or something when he comes back to the surface. Hopefully.

The Nosepass that floated down to land at the bow of her ship had her blinking in confusion. How-? Maybe it was better not to question certain things in the pokemon world. Before long, Otis used SUPERPOWER to render the rock type unconscious. A pokeball was quickly sent its way.

Captain Dross strode back to the helm, waiting impatiently for the screen on her own bracelet to light up. When it finally did, she's quick to push a button on the control panel - and the creaky sound of chains being pulled taunt reached her ears. 'Finally!' 

She met the floating man with a lopsided grin, leaning dangerously over the railing and giving him a thumbs up. "All good, ready to go if you are. I do owe you a lift back to shore." This would've been a pain in the butt without Noelani's help - mostly because it was a two man job and she hadn't yet trained any of her crew to assist in these situations. "Come on up before you freeze!"

It wasn't freezing cold, but even in Hoenn winter chilled the air enough for it to bite at one's skin. She was about ready to set sail and make for Lilycove when a tantalizing proposal leaves Noelani's mouth.

Captain Dross couldn't quite hide the hungry gleam in her eyes when she faced the young man. "An entrance?" There were several underwater caves around this area, although most of them had been mostly explored. As far as Skyler knew, however, there wasn't any documented entrance below. Except...

"Maybe the anchor widened the entrance - if it is an entrance." She appeared to be considering something, although her hands were already subconsciously reaching for the rebreathers. "Mind taking another look?" Because while Skyler might be a ship captain, she was also a treasure hunter - and greed was like a siren's song that propelled her forward.

Her clothes were swiftly replaced by a close-fitting wetsuit, the lingering effects of their previous night all but gone in the wake of Skyler's excitement at exploring the unknown.

It wasn't long before she was in the water, her pokemon around her. The world disappeared as she left the surface behind, hopefully with Noelani in tow, to find this... entrance.
